Taxi drivers have an amazing ability to detect foreigners, even if they are of Pakistani origin. My father was just quoted a price of 400 rs. last week for a short trip. Luckily my uncle was standing at the gate and he realized my father was getting ripped off. He yelled at the driver, so finally he reduced it to the normal fare of 80 rupees.
Unique Suggestions: If you are travelling within Rawalpindi, you should never pay more than 80 rupees. Max fare to Islamabad from Pindi is 180 rupees.
