From around 1-3 pm. most Pakistanis take a short nap, similar to Spanish siesta. The streets become deserted. This is not a safe time as there have been many incidences of women just walking a few blocks from their homes, and then being attacked. Even if there is no safety risk, one should stay indoors during this time as the summer heat is at its peak!
