    A life time dining experience. Inside the walled city of Lahore, where you can have almost all sorts of traditional food, in a real Lahori atmosphere. The speciality food of other areas is also available (for example Chappli Kebabs). A must ...... in Lahore!.

    Fried fish, biryani, tikkas & kebabs, tuk-a-tuk, karahi etc. etc.

    During your visit to Lahore better to stay in the old city, to see the real culture of Lahoris and the vivacity of the walled city.
    For dinner I would recommend you to go to Food street ( Gawalmandi) to enjoy the cooking repertoire of the Lahoris and the food culture in Lahore, as Lahore is pretty alive at night.
    Besides barbecue you better try the traditional Kashmiri Chai.

    This resturant was on the corner of the food street in Lahore. It's clean and cheap. Easy to get a seat. Food was excellent. The bathrooms were not identified with "male" and "female" sign so there was interesting clashes happening the night I was there. :))

    The second resturant - the Kyber Pass in Model Town was a nice experience. I 've never taken dinner in a resturant lying down before. These traditional Punjabi chairs gave cultural atmosphere.

    The so called "Food Street" in Lahore is a pedestrianized zone with nicely restored colonial buildings.
    There are plenty of food stalls offering cheap and delicious local food. Most of them have tables on the street, so this a great place to spend an evening eating and people-watching.

  • The good thing about this place is that it is quite spacious and it offers large variety of foods to its visitors. This place is located in famous bazaar of lahore OLD ANARKALI.

    My favorite dish is CHICKEN SHEESH KABAB. They are cooked on an iron rod and they are served in a beautiful way.

    Your visit to Islamabad is not complete without trying the local Pakistani barbecue. One of the popular place for this type of food is in F-6 Markaz, called Mr. Food or Munchies. If you drive your car, just pull over in a parking space and the street-waitress from this restaurant will approach you with menu. You can enjoy it on the spot or take away.
    Some people may warn you about the hygiene of food vendor. So far, we never have any problem.
