Unlike western countries where rock bands/musical groups performs to mass public in theaters, arenas, we in Pakistan usually book through an agent various musical artists to perform at our meetings/conferences. Also some organizations will book large venues and through their employee network sell tickets to other people to come and enjoy a musical concert where 4-5 different famous rock groups/music artist will come and perform.
More recognizable or famous the group/personality, such as Janoon, Strings, Ali haider, Hadika Khani, Nayara Noor, etc higher the cost. So the agent will book all of them to come and perform 4-5 songs, and we get to enjoy a concert.
Although some of these groups do have there own concert at various venues, majority perform through advance bookings - as described above.
Dress Code: Casual for rock, local dresses for classical music

There is not much of night life in Karachi. No clubs, bars or pubs in the town so it makes the night life very dull. The only place you could see people in the night is beach. Sea View is very hot spot in the night time among locals, loads of youth turns out there in groups but they are mostly men so it is not very comfortable for families and women.
