Luggage and bags: Leave space in one of your bags to take back things you have purchased and gifts that you have received from people
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: jeans are okay, tunic-style-flowy-loose fitting tops, clothes to lounge around the house in, a light jacket for cool winter evenings, dress slacks to wear to nicer events (although i recommend buying a pretty shalwar or sari from a shop), dress shoes like strappy sandals, scarf, shawl, hat
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring all of your makeup, shampoos, and facial creams because that stuff is really expensive in Karachi. It would also make the ladies you're visiting happy if you bring that stuff for them too as gifts
Photo Equipment: Digital camera, charger, extra memory cards or your laptop to empty pictures onto
Miscellaneous: Ramen Noodles, Pepto Bismol, Magazines, Books, Fingernail polish, polish remover, ipod, headphones, dvds, laptop
... i'll probably think of more later

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: karachi is warm thru out the year - except for a few winter days, the over all karachi climate in warm - and breezy at night.
If you are coming in winter, it gets a bit chilly at night - so a single sweater / cardgian would do .
else thru out summer jeans, t shirt, shorts , top , shirt are ok -
as most ppl will think , headscarve is not necessary for females, and it is on their own will to wear it or not .
care should be taken , not to wear extra revealing clothes.
Miscellaneous: cell phone

Luggage and bags: During summer Karachi is very hot, humid and very sticky so pack only light cotton stuff. In the winter it?s very pleasant and 99 out 100 times you would not need anything warm. But remember one thing when packing for Karachi, don?t pack anything, revealing. Always wear cover all your body, regardless your gender.

Luggage and bags: All it takes is a bit of planning, eating carefully while you're away and recognising the early warning signs of possible health-care disasters. Carry insect repellant in liquid form (not aerosol).
Pack oral rehydration salts (ORS) and water-disinfectant tablets.
Bring whatever medication your physician recommends for a fever, such as acetaminophen.
Take loose fitting cotton clothes and a sunhat if you're travelling to a hot climate.
Carry a water-proof sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at-least 15.
Take good-fitting enclosed shoes for toddlers.
Air travel is not recommended for premature infants and infants less than seven days old.
While the plane is taking off and landing, breast-feed or bottle-feed infants. It makes them swallow and prevents ear pain.
