Also known as the POINT. An up-scale shopping center to buy quality stuff. Small department store to buy textile stuff (Chen One) to small boutiques and speciality stores. What I have seen is the most people go there for window shopping, and to spend some free time.
What to buy: Clothes, Shoes, Leather Goods, handicraft, books, electronics, books, food items, groceries, etc etc
What to pay: Depends how deep are your pockets, or how high you credit card limit. Prices are usually fixed in majority of the shops, and there are very few (if not a chain store) that may allow bargaining.

Pak Towers is probably one of the better shopping malls in Karachi. Goods and prices cater to the upmarket, and judging by the young and trendy crowd, seems to be one of THE places to hang out for Karachi's young elites.
What to buy: Levi's Original Store - jeans are cheaper by 30-40% compared to Malaysia - I bought a pair for USD 25, and it's original!
Men's shirts and bedlinens also cheaper.
What to pay: All stores are fixed price - ie no haggling!

SHOPPED IN CLIFTON, MALL CALLED PARK TOWERS THAT WAS AWESOME AND IN SADDAR ALSO...KEY WORD HERE IS BARGAINING.....BUT I DO HAVE TO SAY THEY DIDNT REALLY WANT TO BARGAIN WITH ME MUCH CUZ I THIN THEY THOUGHT " OHH SHE'S AMERICAN SHE HAVE MONEY....SHE DONT NEED A BARGAIN....LOL ) BUT I DID GET SOME REALLY KOOLS THINGS AT GREAT PRICES COMPARED TO AMERICAN CURRENCY....
What to buy: WHEN I GO BACK NEXT TIME I WANT TO BUY MORE LOCAL ETHNIC THINGS...LIKE RUGS AND SHALWAR QAMEEZ....
