Following the KKH from Islamabad in Pakistan to Kashgar in the Xinjiang region of China is possibly one of the most adventurous things I've ever done! The 1300km of road takes in some of the most spectacular mountain scenery, and crosses the highest border in the world - the Khunjerab pass at 4,693 m.
