Sunlounger Island Cafe is a new cafe/bar growing in popularity among the locals and tourists. They serve great espresso/cappuccino and sandwiches during the daytime and nighttime is a great hangout for enjoying a few beers and local favorite Sunlounger Sisig (a sizzling dish)
The music is good, the people are fun, and the multitude of TVs keep the crowds entertained.
If you're in the area of Angeles City, you should definitely visit Sunlounger Island Cafe, located near Angeles University Foundation (AUF) on MacArthur Highway, just before Balibago.

My advice save yourself some time and money and go to Pattaya. I'm 5 days into what i'd planned to be a month trip to the Philippines and i've just changed my ticket to fly back to Thailand tomorrow. In my opinion this place has nothing to compare with Thailand when it comes to naughty nightlife, the women are far less attractive, the people in general are pushy and rude and it's difficult to relax in any of the bars due to constant pressure to buy drinks for the staff.
During the day there is nothing to do in Angeles if you do leave the hotel prepare to be hastled by beggars lots and lots of them as well as alot of people trying to sell you stuff mainly usless stuff.
In summary if your attracted to short fat pug ugly women and don't mind spending the days in abject bordom and like to be hastled constantly by short, rude, inbred scumbags then Angeles is for you'd rather have fun go to Pattaya.

This live band is off the main bar area and thus is not frequented with tourist. It is almost 100% local. Its pretty far so I suggest you take a jeepney down there.
Take note that there is no cover charge but then a minimum order of P200 per person on the first order is required from Friday till Sunday and P150 from Monday till Thursday. Also, no shorts or slippers are allowed.

Take a look at this place and places like Bangla road, Phuket, Thailand (take off patong beach), Dannok, Thailand and Pattaya, Thailand comes as a flash back. Fields Avenue transforms its self into one big party place filled with Ah Go-go bars at night. I think there is something like 100 Ah Go-go bars in this place. Will take a while if you want to visit all of them.
The price of a beer here is P85 compared P20 if you buy them at 7-11. A bit pricy compared to the local price but then its still dirt cheap.

Balibago area is a district of all nighttime establishments. It's actually long the historic McArthur Highway and en route to downtown Angeles City. Resto-bars, coffee shops, restaurants of international cuisines, steak and grill restaurants, hotels and stores, videoke bars lined the district and surrounding streets.

The following travel tip is for single men. I would not recommend these establishments for wives or girlfriend. Maybe a bachelor party at best!
Upscale compared to most of the other clubs in Angeles, the buisness must be improving.
Cleaner and more modern, reminds me of the GO GO bar in thailand!

Great palce to hag out and hear some classic country western music and shoot some pool. This is a rather nice yet rustic place to kick it.
Warning: this bar is located in the fields! The redlight district.

Wild and crazy girls for a go go bar! Definately an active place with somewhat agressive GRO's.

A: there is no real taxi service there - if you mean the regular cabs with meters. what they have are airport limousines (called airport taxi too) that costs from P300 up....
