Places to eat in Angeles City

Its already a popular restaurant well known for the delicious Italian food as it is owned by an Italian (does this automatically make is authentic?) chef. Everything we have tried so far are great but I love the cheese pizza. The only problem here is during peak tourist season and weekends, it's a bit diffuclt to get a seat.

Don Epoy Mexican Grill is a find, you can't even notice it next to holy angel university in angeles city.

food is simple mexican but tasty and affordable. they have a very nice ambiance and design of the place. just make sure you reserved the place before you go since it only occupies about 15 persons. they deliver too.

Favorite Dish: I love the steak burrito and steak platter it is so tender taste like they marinate it and they use tenderloin. They also have the Horchata (mexican drink)where in no body in Angeles serves this as im writing this review. dessert is the sopapillas (ice cream and chips) it is so good that the sweetness of the ice cream and saltiness of the chips blends.

I found Tequila Reef to be well rounded in all the aspects a restaurant should be. Their menu is packed with all your favorite Mexican dishes but also an extensive list of American favorites including BAR-B-Q Pork Ribs (the best around), steaks, sandwiches, subs, burgers, hot dogs, New Orleans "Cajun" Specialties and popular Filipino dishes. The staff is super attentive and fun to be around. I was amazed at the size of the portions because the prices are totally affordable. Make sure you are really hungry before going here! They also have the best margaritas in town along with doing something I've never seen, a special hand shaken margarita whereby a waitress of your choice shakes your drink in front of your eyes. A must see! Their location is right in the heart of all the action so it's convenient for all. I ate there at least 10 times during my stay and brought many friends. The place is really clean inside and out much to Western standards. They also just added a new upstairs music lounge called Suave's Music Lounge featuring the Longhair Brothers, Jhun and Alex. I would highly recommend having a nice dinner downstairs, then head up to the music lounge for some great entertainment at night.

Favorite Dish: BAR-B-Q Pork Ribs because they are so tender. They fall right off the bone and the portions are huge.

Myrnaki Greek Pilipino restaurant is located in authentic Philippine Nipa hut, that give you the feeling as if you are dining in the province, but you are in the middle of Angeles City.
The food is not too expensive and of a good quality.
You will find traditional Greek dishes like Suvlaki, Mouzaka and Giros Pita.
For the Pilipino Girlfriend there is a choice of Pilipino dishes.
Myrnaki is a romantic place to go for a dinner or lunch

Favorite Dish: The Mouzaka is very Nice and very authentic and also the suvlaki with Greek salad is one of my favorite dishes

I have lived in Angeles for quite some time and heard that the EZ Rider cafe was reopened under the new name of the Screamin' Eagle Cafe, I knew the food was good before so I wanted to give it a try to see if it was the same or better.
When I walked in to the cafe the first thing that was apparent was the new colour scheme which was a lot better than before, the menu is pretty much the same but with a few additions, I chose to eat the pork chop dinner which was served with mashed potatoes and vegetables, it was very good and the portion was very generous, the staff were very friendly and took care of me very well, they also advised me that on weekend there is lots of live bands so I will be returning one evening to try more food and live music.

This is a great place to hang out. It's right next to the Wild Orchid Resort which is a great place to stay. If, like me, you like to chill with friends or meet new ones, have a nice conversation without having to scream over earsplitting loud music, eat good food and generally have a nice time, this is your place. The staff is very friendly, the food is good, and reasonably priced. I've had a quiet afternoon lunch here with a few friends, to a large party and all was excellent. It's in the heart of the nightlife district so when you're ready to go dancing or bar hopping, you're already there.

Favorite Dish: I regularly bought the platters of chicken, lumpia, quesadillas, buffalo wings, etc, and invited all the girls to my table. It was a really fun time. I'm looking forward to it again soon.

What makes this resto/bar special is not just the extensive and delectable menu (serving local and Thai food, and specialty coffee at their coffee shop) but also their line-up of really good music bands that plays music from the 60s and even through the recent top hits. Every night a mainstay featured band plays all night long. Jamming with the band can be a great experience. Dancing is highly encouraged, apparent with the large dancefloor and readily available Dance Instructors that stays in the resto for this purpose. One can request to dance with their favorite sentimental songs.

Restaurant is much like a covered garden patio, large enough to sit 150 guests.

Favorite Dish: Loved their iced coffee blends, their version of the Kapampangan sisig and their version of Thai dishes. Their Binagoongang crispy pata is the best i've tasted!

Bambino's has an ambience of an cozy old Italian restaurant, and it's adjoining cafe and salon gives the feeling of cluster comfort where you can move from a nice pasta dinner to a coffee garden. It has ample parking and close enough to the night happenings at buzzling Field's Avenue. The maitre d' (sorry forgot his name) is very attentive and alert to any needs a diner may pose and make short but very entertaining conversation. They also have a sufficient selection of wines to suit your taste and budget.

Subdued lighting is relaxing but restaurant may need probably a lamp for each table :-)

Favorite Dish: Their pizzas are great even if i'm not really a fan of classic italian pizza, i end up eating more than i plan. Mussles in cheese are fresh and delectable.

<<<< UPDATE 6/24/08: Bambino's has closed a few months ago, and Bacio's, another italian restaurant opened in its place. Will try the new place and write something about it ...
