JFK in the rainforest of the Philippines?

Favorite thing: So we are making our way through the rainforest and I spot a statue from afar. "hmmm" I think to myself, "that looks a bit like JFK, but why would JFK be in the middle of a rainforest int he Philippines?" I quickly decided it was probably a statue of Filipino here, Jose Rizal, but lo and behold, it was indeed a statue of JFK!

Favorite thing: Walking the streets. I enjoyed walking the streets experiencing all the vendors and all the curious looks. Oh and please ride the jeepneys while you are there, once you understand there routes they are very useful.

Fondest memory: The people and the smiles, of course!

The Courtyard

Favorite thing: The courtyard is right in front of The University of St. La Salle. This structure houses Cafe Bob's and a couple of other restaurants, a bookstore, a beauty salon and several clothes stores.
During the day, the place is busy with students and it's difficult to find parking but it's a good place to hang out with locals and university students.
