Kuppa: teatime at Kuppa

by eversure

The decor is eclectic but cozy. Tea is great. I also like their spanish chocolate and milk. They serve dinner but nothing to write home about. They are known more for their after dinner stuff. Their gelatos are also great. Nice hang-out place.A Manila friend says their Matt's chocolate cake is better than Calea's. I is very good but since I am not a choco lover, I didn't think to write about it. Casual

MO2 Goldenfields: how bout some beer? (and food and videoke?)

by buenababe

MO2 is located in Goldenfield Commercial Complex (used to be the nightlife spot in Bacolod)... It is a restobar, with KTV and billiards. They serve good food and a nice place to hang-out with friends and have some beer. ;)Their KTV rooms are consumable, for the price of 800-1500, the room is exclusive for you and your group and you can order food and drinks equivalent to the worth of the room. So if you love to sing, have good food and enjoy the night away, MO2 is the place to be. anything comfy

Capitol Lagoon Fish Pond: Feeding the Tilapias

by buenababe

While strolling Capitol Lagoon, there's a big fish pond full of tilapias where you can feed them with popcorn or poprice. ;) It's nice to see a school of fish swimming after for food. Those tilapias are said to be food for prisoners in the provincial jail. shorts, shirt, whatsoever. ;)

Capitol Lagoon: Night Stroll

by buenababe

The Capitol Lagoon is where the locals go for a stroll or just relax at night. It is located centrally in the busy Lacson Street where most restaurants and bars are. The big Capitol building stands proud and well-lighted and in front of it is a big fish pond full of tilapias. The place serves also as a playground for kids, a meeting place, a family's hang-out or for walking and jogging. anything comfy

New Government Center Park: Promenade, Light Show, Night Photography

by cyndymc

The NGC Park is a favorite nightspot of locals and tourists. The fresh air, the beautiful park and the fountain with colorful lights attract a big crowd to spend their evening there. During the asskara Festival season, people look forward to seeing more attractions in the park. This year (2011), there were brightly colored floating installations in the pond, the design of most of which were inspired by masks. When you go to Bacolod City for the Masskara Festival, don't miss the chance to go to the NGC Park in the evening. Remember to bring your camera. Bring snacks, but bring your trash! Come as you are. There is no strict dress code

Masskara Festival Street Party: Mag-Beer Muna Tayo

by cyndymc

At the Tourism Strip and the Public Plaza, locals and tourists are treated to live music of popular bands, and the streets serve as their party venue. Though some tourists usually stay at the 2nd floor of food establishments (like McDo/Chowking/KFC) so they can have a good vantage point for viewing dance exhibition while dinling, more people stay on the long line of kiosks at both sides of the street for food, beer and other drinks. At the plaza, drinking beer at the kiosks start from October 1 till their Charter Day. At the Tourist Strip, the street party and live band is only for 2 nights, after the Electric Masskara.Pro: Free live music by popular bands; "overflowing" beerCon: So much litter and urine stench on the streets Casual wear

Sibeeria: Below Zero Beer

by eversure

One of the newer night spots of Bacolod. It is a happening place on weekends. It is a bar which claim to fame is that they serve beer chilled to below zero temperature. There are lots of promotions on weekends and can be the place to see the party people of Bacolod. No shorts, flipflops, slippers. no tank top for men.

Club Sibeeria: Be at the most happening parties at

Ibiza Ultraclub: Non-stop dancing at

by tidzy

Located at Metrodome commercial complex, this nightspot is perfect for party goers. The club has two floors, the top having divisions for a little more privacy. The DJ's and bartenders are accommodating. Clubs usually apply dresscodes but if you go out in the wee hours of the morning, the bouncers won't bother. Still, no slippers and sleeveless shirts for men.

Mu Shu: The most happening place in Bacolod

by tidzy

Mu Shu is an Asian restaurant during the day and up until around 10pm. This innocent place is turned into the ultimate party place at night. Tables and chairs are moved to the sides, a dj's table is put up and the center of the restaurant is converted into a dance floor. Parties don't end until the wee hours of the morning. You wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing normal clothes while on a night out in Bacolod.
