Balay ni Tana Dikang is a huge ancestral house. Entrance fee costs P100 per head. Inside you can see old pieces of furnitures & items. It is said to be the oldest house in Talisay.
Chapel of Cartwheels is unique. There are several cartwheels as part of the interior decor of the chapel. When we went there, there were several people sleeping inside the church after a ball game.
Church of the Angry Christ is located on the grounds of Victorias Milling Company. It is once featured in an international magazine. It is so-called because of the mural depiction of an angry Christ.
San Diego Pro-Cathedral is designed by an Italian architect & famous for its dome similar to Basilica of St. Peter in Rome. It is one of the most noticeable landmarks in Silay City.
Silay is famous for these old heritage houses hence it is called "Paris of Negros". Just take a tour around the city to view these houses.
It's just next door to the airport and near the water. The beach is not for swimming but they have two nice pools and a waterslide.
When visiting the Negros Forest Mini Zoo, you will see this spotted deer that can only be found in the forests of Negros Island and Panay.

This treasure I found right in the city is a great place to take kids. It's a little zoo which is now home to some endangered species of animals and birds that can only be found in Negros island.
