Bruno' Cafe and Restaurant entrance from Session R by hans51, 4 more photos I know Bruno's Cafe since about 2001 and have been there for 100+ times to enjoy his fine and fresh deli food. A wide variety of desserts, fresh Baguio salads with house made dressing, gourmet snacks and fine dinner or daily specials year round make it a gourmet pleasure to eat out at this place. Bruno renewed his entire Cafe/Restaurant and made it larger and more beautiful all over. large TV screens with music or news. friendly waitresses and most of the time Bruno is presnet - in the kitchen or with guests - ready to tell one of his many funny jokes. Offers many fine Swiss deli specialties, fine Swiss Chocolates, tasty brewed coffee and home made cakes or apple pie and during winter season fresh strawberries. In 5 years of working and travelling the Philippiens - Bruno's Cafe is one of the very few gourmet restaurants in the Philippines I love so much that I sometimes travel just for his fine food for a few days to Baguio City. - like these Christmas days. early Baguio city visitors may know Bruno's Cafe and Restaurant under his previous name "Swiss Deli" at the same location.in Session Rd
Strawberries with cream - fresh delicious strawberries Fine liverwurst sandwich - rarely found at all in the Philippines Spaghetti with home made tomato sauce - really rich tomato sauce Home made apple pie with cream - Swiss style - the best in the Philippines so far. fresh apples just perfectly baked, neither too much - all taste alive Brewed coffee - Bruno makes his own blend of finest local Philippine coffee, mainly Baracho from Batangas and Arabica coffee beans. I also love his many daily specials or his specials he makes JUST fo ryou if you ask and he is of good mood - Bruno will cook something out of the menu just for you he did many times and it always was something very special.

456 Restaurant is locally owned and had been in business since I could remember. I have lived in Baguio City from 1978-1989 and this place is still there having the same business as usual - catering to the old folks of Baguio and to local tourists! This is a place to be at lunch time! University students gather here for their weekly meetings. You can see local real estate brokers and local businessmen drink their fresh-brewed coffee and get the latest news in town. The local newspaper journalists come here and chat. Local politicians, lawyers, teachers and the local residents visit this place to eat, rub elbows, read the newspaper or and get their first hand news circulating in town!
I like their chopsuey. It comes with freshly cut home-grown vegetables - a beautiful mix of sweet peas, cabbage, lettuce, bell pepper, sweet tiny corns, carrots, onions, shallots, fresh green onions and garlic mixed all together with chicken and/or pork. The food comes with freshly boiled white rice served in their white china platter. Make sure to order their freshly-brewed coffee and egg-drop soup! The restaurants/coffee shops at the back side of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of SM Baguio have a great view of Baguio city center. There's a wide semi-covered balcony on each floor beside the restaurants where outdoor tables are set gives diners an amazing overlooking view of Baguio. This is more appreciated come night time when Baguio is lighted. With more than a dozen of prime restaurants to choose from, this is the most convenient and affordable place when with a big group. This is my family's favorite dinner place when in Baguio.
Among the restaurants here are : Tia Maria's (mexican). Gerry's Grill (local). Don Henricos (Italian pasta and pizza). Kitaro (japanese). Mxt (chinese). Mini shabu-shabu. Starbucks (coffee shop). plus the ever reliable McDo, Jollibee, Chowking, KFC.

I've been to Baguio several times but the recent trip I had, it was superb. Had lots of time to shop, stroll and eat. Oh yes! eat!! Discovered Zola at Session Road, they served the best tasting sizzling, pasta and salad at a very affordable rate. We stayed there for two days but we are always present at Zola from breakfast till dinner. Our bill was only a little over P300.00 that's a complete meal. Am from Makati and having dinner or just snack for two costs more than P300.00. Zola is the best so far in Baguio. by tinyMariam Aside from their wide selection of classic and Baguio-original coffees, Picarre is also known for their delightfully eclectic menu which includes among others, pasta, savory and dessert crepes, sandwiches, rice meals, salads, cakes and pastries. The Porta Vaga branch is right next to the Baguio Cathedral and their SM branch is located on the Veranda overlooking the city of Baguio.
All their savory (pizza, ham cheese, pesto mozzarella) and dessert (generously filled with mango, strawberry, blueberry, etc.) crepes are to die for! My favorite is their pizza crepe which I can eat 2 at one time. Likewise, all their hot and cold coffees me and my fiancee (he has ordered twice in one occassion their Machiatto) have tasted so far are the best! Stationz Cafe is a newly opened restaurant/cafe next to Gate 4 SLU. It only opened one week ago but it is already packed to capacity. People are scrambling for an oppurtunity to eat at this one of a kind Cafe. The menu is geared towards students, so the prices are dirt cheap! Meals start at just 35 pesos, while freshsly brewed coffee starts at only 15 pesos! The food is amazing! Nothing is frozen or pre cooked, everything is made fresh as you order. The cooks use no MSG or extenders, the food is made with natural herbs and spices. The food is healthy and increadably delicious. The atmosphere is amazing! The atmosphere is similar to Starbucks or Mocha Blends, but the food is a mere fraction of the cost. The kitchen and dinning area are spotless. Everything is Sanitized and very clean! The staff are friendly and courteous. The owner is generous, and always goes out of her way to make customers happy. Overall, Stationz Cafe is an amazing experience! I personally will eat there every day!
I have two favourites actually. The first is an invention of the owner called "potpot". It is essentially a small round doughnut, with cheese in the middle, baked fresh as you order. It is mouth watering and extremely addictive. My second favourite is there Soamai. One Soamai costs six pesos (at least two pesos cheaper than everyone else) and is bigger than your average Soamai. The Soamai is made fresh daily and is a favourite of most customers. by way of "turo turo".. here's what i got... by myspices It is one of those shops along Session Road (there are plenty of them). If you are hungry and do not know what to eat, just go in one of the shops that have a lot of locals eating there. That way, you can be assured that the food is not that bad. We were already late for our dinner and not wanting to eat any of the fast food, we decided to go into one of the many shops that sell local dishes. There's this shop that offered discount on that day ... think it was a 20% discount . Most of the dishes are gone but there are still some that I feel would taste nice. By way of "turo turo", pointing to the dishes displayed ..... here's what I have ordered ....
1) minced meat with bittergourd 2) vegetables of pumpkin, string beans, eggplant, small bittergourd - think it's "pinakbet" 3) a bowl of soup on the house 4) rice with some sauce Cost : 45pesos Theme: LocalComparison: least expensiveAddress: shop along Session RoadDirections: the most popular road in Baguio!
