Visiting Santa Clara, a tinge of excitement lingered within me. This was the first time that I would be visiting the slums to help the children. As a mark of respect, we had to stop by their governing office to inform them that my friends and I are going into Santa Clara.
I understand that the people in the slums would also then be more willing to allow you in.

Catching fishes is a way of life at the slums of Santa Clara. The people of these village do not have much but they seemed happy, at least outwardly. The children swim in the waters and the slum even have their own communal basketball court that doubles up as an activity area too.
