Pulling Off a Bukidnon-CDO-Camiguin Adventure

We haven't got a package during our trip as all the travel agencies advertised in the CDO gov't website cannot be contacted so we organized our own. From experience, I know that travel agencies in Manila charges way way too much :). Better to contact a local travel agent during your travels.Van rental CDO-Dahilayan (8 hours) - P3.5K (I guess you can negotiate for a lower price)Dahilayan Zip Zone fee - P600/pax (3 diff zipline)White Water Rafting - P700/pax (min of 5 pax. You'll have to pay P875/pax if you are only 4. Includes transpo to/from the site)Van rental CDO to Balingoan Port - P2,000 (or you can take a bus if you have time)Ferry from Balingoan to Camiguin - approx P400 2-wayCamiguin Package - P1,400/pax (food ex)Enjoy the trip!

White Water Rafting

Hi Arsenio!We've just spent the weekend (Jan 6-9) at Northern Mindanao covering CDO-Bukidnon and Camiguin. White water rafting has already resumed 2 days after typhoon Sendong. Don't worry, the part where they conduct the activity is at the mountainous part of the city so the river's water passes through the rafting site first before going to the city then finally to the sea. We actually tried it yesterday and it was FUN! As for the sked of Super Cat, try this:http://www.camiguin-island.com/getting-there.shtmlI cannot find any official site to verify the sked. We traveled through Balingoan Port anyway.For accom, you can contact our tourguide. Her family has cottages for rent very near Paras Resort. I'll PM her contact number.

White water rafting

definitely a must try! been there last june 21-22. enjoyed it very much! try the advance stage, 24 rapids in all. adrenaline rush! sarap! during our ride, it was pouring rain, kakatapos lang ni bagyong egay, although di nmn affected ang mindanao. the rain added thrill sa ride! saya! sometimes you feel like the river never ends. kaw na 4 hours sa river! one of the longest and greatest 4 hours of my life! hopefully matuloy ulit kame bumalik this december! ganun sya kasaya, kakagaling ko lang 5 days ago, may plan na bumalik!

ZIPZONE: for water rafting and zipline

If you want to experience water rafting the best place to do it is in Cagayan de Oro. I forgot how many rapids we had but my experience was so amazing and unforgettable. And for the Longest Zipline in the Philippines do it here. We contact Zipzone and we have no problem with anything.

Dahilayan Adventure Park: Zipline!

3 ziplines. a. 840m zipline while in Superman position. b. 320m zipline and 100 something meter zipline. Sitdown positionGreat views, great experience. Very important tip: AVOID WEEKENDS as line gets really long. Zipline experience itself wouldn't take a minute for each line.

White Water Rafting

There is the beginner course, and advanced course. When we went there, the weather was not raining, but was not sunny. Water was a bit cold but it was okay. Definitely a must when going to Cagayan de Oro. There are different services provided, i recommend Kagay, as they even fetched us from and to our hotel/inn. I would recommend trying the advanced course(even if it was my first time) as it is more fun and there are more rapids. There's a trial mode at the start so there's nothing to be surprised with. It cost Php1000/head

White Water River Rafting

A travel to CDO won't be complete without experiencing the infamous river rafting. Its 3 hrs heart pumping river ride for beginners especially. Beginners get to traverse through 14 rapids, its an experience that is worth all the muscle pains, a 700.00/pax is all worth it.Maximum of 6 pax per raft with two river guides that give you instructions like; before the rapids (paddle 3), after the rapids (high five).

Gardens of Malasag

Gardens of Malasag is a nice place to go for nature & animal lovers. It's just a couple of minutes from the city center. This place is huge but you can have a good hike around the area visiting zoos & other attractions. There is a canopy walk for the adventurers. I also spotted a restaurant for a cool refreshment after the long tiring walk as well as a souvenir shop for local crafts. The park is in need of maintenance. A map will be provided at the receiving counter. There's a swimming pool & you could have a nice view of Macabalan Bay. There are cottages for those wishing to stay the night.
