If you are in Clark or its surrounding area in February, better make a room for a visit to the Clark HAB Fest. It's the longest running hot air balloon festival in Asia. it participated in by balloonists from all over the globe. Aside from balloon ascensions there're a host of other aerial exhibitions like skydiving, paragliding, aerobatics, ultralight flights, RC aircraft displays, professional kite exhibitions and of course exhibits related to aviation (both military and civil). There are also a lot of kiosks offering food and goods (even tattoo stands) making it a good way to spend a full day.
The cost of entrance to the festival is currently P250/pax. The activities start rather early so plan to be there at around 5:30 a.m. if you plan on seeing everything :)
Oh okay! the HAB ascension starts at 6:30 a.m. but there are some interesting preliminary activities before that :)
the lazer river ride is a 500 meter long pool that criss crosses the whole area and it has many wave making currents inside the pool to hurl you along the way. you can either walk your way around the long pool or ride along an inflatable rubber raft while cruising along. too bad that i did not have a water proof camera when i went here.
the fontana water park has a star attraction in the three aqua thrill slides which can be reached by a flight of stairs about 5 storeys high and It features body slide w/ cover, body slides full open and slide with inflatable tube. The lines here are long and it ends at the deep pool below.

There is a separate three tunneled aqua thrill slides that is just a short walk away from this mother of all aqua thrill ride. The stairs leading to this big slide is just about 1 1/2 story high as the giant rubber boat can easily sit 4 people. the rubber boat will slide sideways up to 90 degrees while falling down fast to a large pool below.

The Wave pool part of the Fontana Water Park is the most popular area for adults as they have giant waves that is generated for 10 minutes at 30 minute intervals. the waves are not that strong so you cannot surf hehehe but is just enough to pull you away. this is the most crowded area of the water park.
