A cool place to hang out at night is Greenbelt 3. During the day its a great place to shop, eat, or watch a movie. But at night this place gets pretty crazy. The restaurants are bars, the bars are clubs.. this place can get really packed. If you dont feel like gettin your groove on at one of the dance spots you can chill in the courtyard in between starbucks and Seattles best coffee. This spot is crowded too, most people here are just loungin, but in between the coffee shops is a courtyard filled with tables and chairs. A restaurant there, throws on some salsa music. You can even grab yourself a cigar here. Some people get up and dance, but most just chill. Its a cool spot to party it up with friends or just peoplewatch. Like i said you can do anything from watch a movie, check out a club or get some coffee.....
Dress Code: I guess it really depends on where you go, but its pretty casual no matter what.

Every halloween there is this party at the NBC tent at the Fort. It gets pretty crowded and the drinks are really cheap. People dress up in some great costumes. the only thing i didnt like was the music. But if you are into House music you will love it. Its more of a rave. I believe its 600Php to get in. If you are ever out in the PI during halloween you should definitely check this out..
Dress Code: Its a Halloween party, so wear a costume!!

If you can't do without night clubbing, there are lots of bars along Makati Avenue and Padre Bourgos.
Girlie bars, discos, shows, better ones lousy ones, cheap ones, expensive ones (and cheating is the rule in a few establishments)
Be careful!
Dress Code: mostly casual - to business (take off your necktie)

If you are into great hip hop music then you definitely gotta check out Absinth on Wednesday nights. Im talkin Common, Tribe called quest, Nas, Digable, Roots, Hieroglyphics, Mos Def, Talib, Gang Starr, The list goes on... The Dj was spinning all the hits..
The place wasnt too crowded, but it was a nice place to chill and lounge on the patio with a few drinks. I would definetely recommend going here having a few drinks, listening to some good music then heading over to The Embassy (club - check other nightlife tip) at Fort Bonifacio. Its free to get into, the drink prices are comparable to other places in greenbelt.

Manila/Makati has one of the best nightlife! The question my friends and I always ask ourselves is not "where are we going?" but rather "where do we begin?". And it's not "what time are we meeting?" but "when will the night end?"
Manila/Makati was home for me for a number of years and I fondly remember those nights spent going out, having fun, until the sun rises the next day!
When I visited back in 2002 and 2003, Makati and Manila still offers the best nightlife in that part of the world!
Great way to start is the Remedios Circle in Malate. Hop from one bar to the next. There is Havana, Cafe Adriatico, walk over to Fidel's, have tapas at Casa Armas. Sometimes, they close the street for a block party on weekends!
Back in Makati, there is Greenbelt 3, Makati Ave and Pasay Road, lined up with countless restaurants, bars.
Nightlife starts at midnight and ends until the sun rises the next day...I don't remember hearing a "last call for alcohol" last time I visited. I would surely hope not!
