    Cascada: Cascada

A restaurant among a lot of others in the new Greenbelt 3. A nice place to meet for people who live and work around the Makati area. Cascada is on the second level. As the name denotes, I was hoping for a little more than a tiny wall fountain with water cascading from it but the food is good and the chilean red we ordered was excellent.

Favorite Dish: Their steak was cooked perfectly and the presentation was quite pretty...for steak, that is. I had the salmon which was ok but nothing to rave about. For dessert we had fondue with different platters of fruit and cheesecakes and cream puffs. Sinfully chocolicious!

Via Mare and The Oyster Bar: Via Mare and The Oyster Bar

The one I like most is at the Edsa Shangrila Mall. The franchise opened in January by very dear friends of mine so I get a discount & excellent service above their usual excellent service :-)
It's a great meeting place for whether you're going out at night or just shopping at the mall.

Favorite Dish: Filipino food especially merienda (snacks) and breakfast items on the menu and of course oysters.

DADS restaurant, in Makati: Don't miss the Filipino food!!

This restaurant is a pay once and eat as much you can kind of restaurant. You can choose from Filipino, Japonese and Continental kitchen. The Filipino food costs 250 pesos per plate. The Continental is 455 and the Japonese food is 335 pesos. The variety of food is imense, you can find any kind of food you can think of there... all of them are wonderful.. belive me I tryed them all. Also in the money you pay for the plate you can have sweets and fresh fruits as much as your stomach can have. The drinks are a little more expensive, even more than the food, but not that much. For instance San Miguel beer (local beer) is somewhere around 80 pesos, in some other places you find it at 30-40 pesos. But you can choose Iced Tea, or Coca Cola and they will refill your glass whenever it's empty. So if you feel like eating a lot, drinking too I really recommand DADS. The ambience is wonderful, especially when the band starts to sing for the customers, taking even requests. They sing very well! I loved it.. it's very romantic especially if you are with your loved one there. :)

Favorite Dish: The continental kitchen.. but I loved the Filipino one too.. but too much rice for me.. :)

    Local food with a twist.

Favorite Dish: I especially recommend the Sink Or Swim salad, and the Wild Spice pasta. Quench your thirst with a bottomless glass of pandan iced tea.
