    Tender Bobs: Mid Priced Steakhouse

by machomikemd Written Apr 13, 2015

Tender Bobs is one of the more popular steakhouses in the Greenhills area that offers various imported steaks from australia, USDA and Angus steaks of various cuts and at affordable prices (they also own meat plus steakhouses in Subic Freeport and Clark Freeport Areas and they also sell various frozen cuts of steak and burgers at their branch here in greenhills). Located at the Promenade in Greenhills, the restaurant can be packed with people even on weekdays as the prices of the Angus and USDA steaks here are way cheaper at about 1,500 pesos and less for your average 8 to 14 ounce steaks as compared to more than 2,000 pesos for the high class steakhouses around the area. Besides the steaks, they also have burgers, assorted grilled american food like slow cooked pork ribs, baby back ribs, salmon and other seafood and a lot more.

Opens: 11:00 am to 10:30 pm on weekdays and up to 12:00 am on weekends

Favorite Dish: what else but the 14 ounce Angus Rib Eye Steak medium rare and it cost 1,200 pesos an order and the baked chicken with cheese at 450 pesos an order, drinks cost 100 pesos and more per order.

    Peri Peri Restaurant: Portugese Food

by machomikemd Updated Aug 23, 2014

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

a portugese style restaurant in the middle of the promenade area of greenhills shopping center.

Peri Peri Chicken and Portuguese Cuisine is a fast casual restaurant that started in 2005 at the Greenhills Commercial Center, at the Promenade Part and since then has expanded to 4 outlets. this restaurant offers the Spicy Portuguese Peri Peri Grilled Chicken and with the associated spicy peri peri sauce (they have 3 varities of sauce, the mild and moderate and spicy) and besides the grilled chicken, they have other protuguese fare like bacalhau and more, plus a sprinkling of comfort grilled favorites like texas barbecue pork ribs, usda rib eye steaks, pork barbecue meals and a lot more.

opens: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm everyday

    according to their website:

Peri Peri refers to African bird’s eye chilis, which we use for our customized sauces.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken, our dishes are spit-fire grilled to perfection with the best African-Portuguese spice mix brought in all the way from Africa. Launched in 2005 at Greenhills Promenade, Peri-Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken caters to a large market, primarily appealing to the B and C demographics. However, chicken being a comfort food in the Philippines, Peri-Peri immediately stood out among other brands because of its cooking style and unique sauces.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peri Peri is set up as fast casual restaurant. The best part that surprises most of our guests are the large servings of Java rice on a platter with grilled chicken and side dishes. To top it off, the restaurant offers an unlimited soup and beverage bar featuring a variety of soup flavors, different coffee drinks, juices and soda.

Other menu finds include a mix of Mexican favorites such as Quesadillas, Rappas, Fajitas and mainstream products such as wild wings, salads and pizzas.

Favorite Dish: the african grilled chicken off course!

an order of peri peri chicken quarter with rice will cost 280 pesos, half order with rice at 450 pesos and a surf and tuf order (USDA Rib eye steak and grilled shrimps) at 900 pesos an order. drinks start at 80 pesos

This was originally a continental restuarant in Manila bay but was sold to Budding Filipino Chinese enterprenuers in the 1970's who re tooled it into a chinese luxury restaurant and dimsum house in separate chambers.

    Starbucks NEGH: coffee

The place is like an old house. It's a comfortable place. I could even imagine myself staying there from morning til midnight. The baristas are way different from the other branches. They're very accomodating. Their air conditioning is the best, it really cold inside.

Favorite Dish: I LOVE their Strawberries' and Cream Frappe, blended whip. Anytime of the day, this is the best drink for me. :)

And when I'm like sleepy, I order their Hot Cocoa to keep me alive alert awake.

I also like their Tiramisu. Although it's the best order to go. Their chiller's temperature is really low. So the cake tends to dry up a little. By ordering it to go and storing it on your own chiller, it'll moist a little bringing out the coffee in it - taste better. :)

Their Cinnamon Roll is also great. :)

    Teriyaki Boy. Promenade, Greenhills: katsu

by jekika Written Apr 7, 2006

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The service was quite alright. Well, it really depends on my mood on how I'll judge them.

There was this one time when I was having dinner with a friend and the place is filled, they could barely hear my voice. It was understandable though.

The cost? For a student like me, it's really expensive. But if you're like one big time hot shot person, then it's quite cheap. But either way, it's worth the pay cos the food's really good. :D

The utensils they used are nice. They don't use the cheap ones. They use the hard, heavy ones.

Favorite Dish: I love their Katsudon. I usually eat it with their teriyaki chicken sauce.

I also adore their Teriyaki Chicken. Well, that's their specialty isn't it? ;)

Plus I think their Cali Maki is really cheap.

And please tell me that you love their rice. HAHA

It's in an old Spanish house with open verandas/terraces. Cozy if you're dining with friends and romantic enough for dinner for two.

Favorite Dish: Spanish food but on our last visit we all had steaks and it was really good.
