The location of the restaurant is very easy to miss, unless it was recommended to you by somebody or a regular at the Podium. They are at the lower ground floor, so if you just happen to stroll/visit the podium, chances are you won't see the place. The area of the establishment is half deli/grocery and half restaurant. There are several tables (about 4 booths, 10 small tables) so it easily fills up during the lunch rush - most of their clients are the expats working at ADB. A bit too expensive for me, and i'll come back should i get enough money to feed myself here. hahaha
European Cold Cut Platter - P450+ Arroz con Gambas al Cognac - P650+ White Wine - P110+ Was surprised when the Cold Cut Platter arrived. I knew before hand that it's at P450 and when I saw it i was a little disappointed - costing so much for so little food :) The hams were very delicous though. Loved the Arroz con Gambas, not just because i love shrimps, but the general flavor of the food :) *** Mixed Platter - 560 Pumpkin Soup - 140 Champpitones - 240 White Wine (House wine) - 130 Coke light - 45 with 10% service charge and 12% vat Theme: OtherPrice: US$21-30 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: Lower Ground Flr, The PodiumDirections: Located at the Lower Ground Flr of the Podium, near the entrance from Basement Parking

The lunch crowd was quite thin so the receptionist seated us at the couch (overlooking ADB ave and the building across the street). The waiters were attentive, albeit a bit hovering when we weren't ready to order yet. Was so disappointed about them not having any desert!
We ordered the Shrimp Chili Pasta (about 250+) and Chicken Caesar Salad (about 195). Bottomless drinks (Iced Tea and Sodas) are available. D._Pepper first introduced UCC coffee to me last year. I suggested Starbucks and he said..."Nah, you haven't tried UCC, have you?" At that time not familiar with this new cofee shop chain, I just smiled and said no. (Then went home and asked my brother what in the world is UCC???) The one we usually go to for breakfast or for coffee and dessert after dinner is at the Podium in Ortigas Center. You can choose between cozy and comfy black couches or tables in the ground floor or upstairs if you are with smokers.
Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is indeed the costliest coffee in the world because it's grown only in one place. You can scrimp (and just get the taste of it) for the blend which is about $4 a cup or, fully enjoy a pure brew for about $6. Some people will say coffee is coffee...and I agree most of the time because I really just like coffee but when I want to indulge...I don't mind paying $6 :-) For breakfast, their french toast and bacon is to die for...the toast is perfectly done...crisp on the outside and light and melts in your mouth in the inside. Celebrated Jose's birthday here. Since it was a Thursday, there isn't much of a crowd (just us and one other group). Nice and quiet ambiance (like most restaurants at the Podium). They gave us a free appetizer (something like potato balls).
