when visiting the rizal shrine in dapitan, make sure you check to see if the curator of this outdoor museum is present. his name is gabriel cad, a very nice and friendly man who's always willing to help. most of all, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to rizal's life in dapitan. just ask him to tell you more about what really happened in this historic place and he'll gladly fill you in on what you should really know.he helped me a lot when i was doing my research there all those years ago. just say his good friend miko referred you.
