General Santos City

 I enjoyed my GenSan stay, my dear friend is based there. The people is absolutely warm and the food yummy, especially the tuna panga!

Tuna Capital of the Philippines

 General Santos (old name: Dadiangas) is a nice enough city with very wide streets and orderly buildings. A bit antiseptic. Not much nightlife - nothing much of interest. Not as scary as news reports...

 the next time you open a canned tuna, you'll be surprised. that tuna is most likely from general santos city (gensan for short).

 people always talks about the northern part of phillipines. well it's true that mindanao is not pretty safe, still it's just a question of not putting your feet where you are not supposed to! avoid......
