Here in my country we have plenty of Zoo's and the main Zoo's is in Manila. But we have plenty animas left there too.. so, if you do like to drop by for an hours just go for it.. and dont miss to take a picture..
We go here to show around for my sis daughter, and going here again is make me excited though haven't seen wild animals again. So, as we dont have much time to stay at the Zoo. while my sisters sit around and talking, I go around too to take a pictures. Tiger is the best shoot for me, it was really far from where im standing with though you dont need to be closed or else they will attacked you...But at the right moment and a right time i did had shoot a best picture for my page... by syllybabe I have conceded to the fact that Thailand's fruits are generally sweeter than ours but one fruit that I can boast of for unparalleled sweetness is our mango. They're grown everywhere in the country but the ones grown in the island of Guimaras are known to be the best. While you're here, indulge! They're available at most fruit stands most of the year. Orange Sunrise by syllybabe Remember that and try to wake up to catch one of the beautiful sunrises we have in this pearl of the orient. I've seen spectacular sunsets but I favor sunrises for the promise of newness that it brings with it as it gives itself to us everyday.
I woke up at 530am last summer to capture that lone fisherman's boat on the water. I've been wanting to go back to Escalante since then if only to capture more sunrises. Leave a Comment

Cathedral at night by syllybabe The Philippines is the only predominantly Catholic country in Asia. This is due to Spain's 300yr. reign. From the time Magellan first anchored on our shores in 1521 til the Americans took over in the late 1800's, our people have taken in not only Catholicism but other Spanish traits as well. Even food here is influenced by a touch of Spain.
This photo is of the San Sebastian Cathedral in Bacolod City. Churches similar to this one can be found in almost every town or city around the country. Leave a Comment

by syllybabe We're highly impressionable. We like billboards because it reminds us of things we want to buy or use. Billboards are everywhere especially in Manila. This one on the pic can be seen right after the bridge in Guadalupe, Makati and it always seems to change everytime I'm in Manila. Leave a Comment

Taal Lake is the best destination here in Tagaytay City as this place is more or like Baguio the weather, views and etc..for sure you will do appreciate the nature. Not too far from Manila and not crowded as well. Specially, there are lots of views to watch on and shoot for. You can go there at morning then go back home at afternoon or stay for 1 night.
Since this is my first time in Tagaytay I admit that even I live here in the Philippines I wasn’ t able to visit great places here in my country but it doesn’t mean I don’t like to travel here, of course you need to have time and money for your sake!. One of my friend told me that " I don’t need to go to other country to look for nice views though Philippines had already ‘" well, yeah I do agree of that. But of course I wanted to have a tour and to explore other countries too. Since this is my first time in Tagaytay I do have fun and enjoy my 1 day tour here with my co-vt members. Leave a Comment

Baguio Cathedral by herzog63 For me the color of the Baguio Cathedral is odd but it sits high up on a hill overlooking Baguio and gives you some nice views of the area. The Cathedral played an important part of housing people during World War II. For me the funnest way to get there is via the long set of steps that leads up from session rd. But if your not into stair climbs there is a road that takes you right to it. Just so you know ...Session road is a fairly steep street as it goes up the hill. There are many small shops and a couple of small malls that are on Session road so it's a great place to wander around and people watch. You will see tons of college age students as Baguio has several colleges now and the weather isn't hot like the lowlands. Leave a Comment

Bangaan Church and School by herzog63 The valley village of Bangaan is in such a beautiful setting! The weather was perfect when we did our hike there. It is an idylic village with friendly people and great kids. Everyone seemed to just go about their daily stuff as we passed by them. It was a great experience for my son and I. To reach Bangaan you must first go to Banaue then take a local bus to Batad then it's about a 30 minute hike from there. No roads to Bangaan!! Leave a Comment

Mountain Province by herzog63 There are endless hiking possibilities in the Philippines! Some are established trails that are used for hiking and other hikes cover trails and small roads that are used by locals that live far away from the road. In 1987 I got to go on a great hike that was arranged through a friend of a friend. It was delivering mail to people that lived far off the main road. It was very interesting and sadly I never took one photo that day!! I guess that is what memories are for. Leave a Comment

One of the people coming after is this Sand Castle. My first time here was last year and just been able to see few small castle. Now back in Boracay and saw this? i was! Wow people here are really creative. The guy made this for whole day, perfect design with a great lettering of Boracay word and the date. You'll find some kids who are making some of this too. Like faces etc. So dun miss if ever you come here in Boracay. Try to walk at the shoreline at the morning or afternoon. Morning they might starting doing it and Afternoon they are nearly done..
I wait for a guy to finish what he've doing and i asked him if he can stand behind of his work. He says "no no, just go ahead". Ok i dun forced him to stand though he might changed his mind and dun allow me to take pictures for free. Free? means its okay if i dun give him money for taking picture. Of course you need to give though just think how great he made and think that if you'll give some. He will smile/happy. Leave a Comment
