    We were there during the rainy season and they have a very limited menu. Mostly chicken or pork adobo, which is one of Philippines' national dishes. It's a vinegar/soysauce mixture that is cooked with chicken. Very tasty, but you will notice everyone makes it a little bit differently. This place is so so, but they have a nice fire in the fireplace, which made it much nicer, especially on a cold night.

    They also have a guesthouse.

    The cafe is two storey house at St Joseph Resthouse. Good lightings and settings. If you want to feel "more open" and "airy", go upstairs. Serving is done quite fast and waitresses are helpful.

    A portion of rice with choysuey. The hilight would be the Fried chicken - crunchy and tasty to the last bite. Two pieces is really not enough to calm the hungry stomach .....

    This dish comes with a portion of rice , some chopsuey and two big servings of BBQ chicken pieces marinated in some sweet sauce. BBQ Chicken taste is : slightly crunchy and sweet on the outside and soft and tender in the inside.... yummy when you are so hungry and it's freezing cold outside!

    It was our first night in Sagada and we were so tired in more than 12 hrs trip from Manila to Baguio. We had our dinner in Log Cabin where I made reservations prior going to Manila. The restaurant has a buffet every saturday which costs 290php/head. You need to make reservations before Saturday so you can eat. The food was sumptous!!! =) Since it is our first time in Sagada and in the said restautant we wanted to take a picture with the chef who is a french (i think??? sorry not sure about his nationality) as a souvenir besides the picture we took inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, he didn't grant our request =( huhuhu!!! anyway, just enjoy the food and the ambiance. you can't miss this out!!!!

    Unfortunately, we missed these two restaurants, but i thought i should mention them since they are so popular.
    Log Cabin Restaurant- this is closed due to the low season. Supposedly has the best food in town, cooked by a French chef. Can be busy in high season. best to make reservations in the high season. Meals from 300 pesos.

    Shamrock-little shack by the municipal building. Popular in the evenings. We saw that many hang out and watch tv and have coffee. Especially good for breakfast.

    A very nice restaurant with a varied menu. They have Philipino and western dishes. The wooden dinning room as pictures by the photographer Eduardo Mansferre. He took wonderful black and white photos of Cordillera people. Many of the photos are framed at the back of the restaurant. There is a gallery of the photographer at the beginning of town.
    -Has a good breakfast

    Also, they have an inn, which has dormitory style rooms.

    Another very nice place to eat away. The ambience is very nice and cosy, a lot of history on the walls so you can spend your time reading while waiting for your food. A good chance too to meet other visitors from out of town as a lot of them will eat there as well.

    Try their local "mountain tea" - very different from the normal tea, there is a tint of mint in the tea. You can buy them from the Ganduyan Store for 10 pesos a packet.

    Masferre Country Inn & Restaurant is at a good location, near to Information centre. Sit by the window with frilly curtains and you will get to see the patches of nice green outside. Waitresses are friendly and love to have a chat if you are willing..... Lots of lovely black and white photograhs of ethnics are displayed at the back of the wood-panelled wall.

    The ambience was good (place is almost spotless clean) and food is not too bad, that was why we came back to have dinner here too.

    "Chinese" fried rice with mixed peas, maize and carrot- quite a big portion. Ordered a soup (mushroom) to go with it. A simple yet delicious meal...
