Egg-gy egg plant omelette by myspices Masferre Country Inn & Restaurant is at a good location, near to Information centre. Sit by the window with frilly curtains and you will get to see the patches of nice green outside. Waitresses are friendly and love to have a chat if you are willing..... Lots of lovely black and white photograhs of ethnics are displayed at the back of the wood-panelled wall. The ambience was good (place is almost spotless clean) and food is not too bad, that was why we came back to have dinner here too.
For light eaters - an omelette with soft, tangy egg plant . Garnished with cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce Good to the last bit. For added flavour, add the sauce (chilly or ketchup) provided on the table Price :70 pesos Theme: LocalComparison: about averageAddress: Mountain Province, SagadaDirections: From the tourist information in the town centre, walk along the road for a few blocks.. on the left hand side of the road

Breakfast is great by laqjaw The owner, Masferre, a long time resident but of Spanish descent is a professional photographer who was very lucky enough to get photos of Sagada , it's people and culture in the 70's. His restaurant is full of wonderful portraits of Sagada people taken many years ago, one would wish they had the opportunity to see during it's time. Order local menu "Pinikpikan" (beaten chicken) at least a day. The preparation is quite tedious.

by pres_16 Upon arrival at Sagada, I had my lunch at Masferre's. I ordered chicken and veggies with rice. The food is nice and I liked it. While waiting for your order, take time to look at the collection of old photographs of local people and customs by the owner, Eduardo Masferre. Also try Masferre's Chocolate Oatmeal cookies. Bacon and pancakes by cyan501 Nice woody place. Big serving. Service sucks for local tourists. (They were prioritizing the Koreans though we came first.) Theme: LocalPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: Near Youghurt house.

by danaiskra Nice place.. Has a mellow rastafari feel to it with the bob marley posters and bamboo setting. Price Ranges Serves beer @ P35 - P50 Rice meals @ P120 - 170 Pasta @ P120- P150 Cons: Quite pricey, food is just ok, not that great. The best asset this has is its ambience... Or maybe it was my fault, ordering fish on a mountain resto. Crew is friendly, they gave us free persimmons freshly picked from their tree before we went.. Theme: LocalPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: walk downhill from town hall

by yuet29 The restaurant has nothing too fancy other than a warm girl from Batangas (Zena owns Persimoon partially) The dishes are almost the same as in other restaurant as well as the pricing. They take long to serve the food but I came here once a day when I was in Sagada because it is where you want to be during such a cold weather day.
I tried both ADOBO chicken and BBQ chicken, both are good but the dishes are not standardize. There were twice I have the same order but the dish look differently for both. Leave a Comment

Dinner at Saint Jo Restaurant by nimato Saint Joseph Restaurant is the biggest restaurant in Sagada, in terms of floor space. The place reminded me of the dining hall at Teachers' Camp in Baguio City. Artists who settled in Sagada exhibit their works here. Typical Filipino meal here costs around P120pp. Theme: DinerPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: Inside Saint Joseph Resthouse compound
