If there's one thing you should consider buying as pasalubong from Sagada, it would have to be the items made out of the Sagadan cloth. Bags, puches, clutches, cellphone holders, wallets, etc... as long as they're made of the colorful cloth which Sagadan weavers make inside their shops (for some). The Sagada Weaving shop have the best looking products of all but of course, their items are more expensive compared to other stores. I really like their huge sling bag but it's way out of my budget. The little pouches are also cute so you better buy one or two. You can also observe the Sagadans who are weaving / sewing the items just behind the counters. Aside from this specialty shop. there are lots of souvenir shops scattered all over the place. You can get cheaper items from them and you can still haggle for the price especially if you're buying lots of items.
Items made of Sagadan cloth whoch cost PhP25.00 (bracelets, necklaces, chokers) - PhP900.00 (for big bags)... The t-shirts sold in Sagada Weaving are also the best looking of them all. The rints are nice and it's not that colorful (they come in black or white or earth colors... which is good coz it makes the shirts look more modern and funky). Price ranges from PhP250.00 - PhP350.00 depending on the sizes and styles.
PhP25.00 to PhP50.00 for the bracelets, necklaces and chokers. PhP300.00 - PhP1000+ for the bags of several sizes and styles. PhP50.00 - PhP500.00 for smaller bags, pouches, cases, etc. PhP250.00 - PhP300.00 for t-shirts Theme: Local CraftDirections: You can see it sigh before reaching the town center.

Aside from Sagada Weaving, another branded "cloth" line is Narda. You can find Narda's products at Konaya. It's a little shop a few steps away from Masferre's. I so love their long cover ups but they cost PhP700+! Oh well, they're beautiful. Enough said. The bags also feature good craftmanship. The details are well-placed and the colors of the threads are vibrant. The products are actually good buys if you really want to splurge on bags and shawls. Konaya also offers ukay sweaters, which are also cute. They even have 3 for PhP100.00 sweaters / cardigans / jackets. thicker ones go for PhP100.00 a piece. Additional attraction of this shop? The little boys running around the place. They're oh so cute!
It would have to be the cover-ups from Narda and the ukay sweaters from Konaya.
PhP500.00 - PhP1000+ for the Narda products PhP100.00+ for the Konaya sweaters / jackets / shawls / cardigans / sweatshirts / etc. Theme: Local CraftDirections: A few steps away from the Municipal Hall.

If you have extra backpack capacity, try to look for red rice. Even the locals say it is fairly rare and is not regularly available in the weekend market.

Sagada has a lot of wine to choose from - rice, strawberry, carrot, fruits - practically anything they grow they turn into a wine. But I still got to see a drunk sashaying on the main road. I saw a lot wine, I haven't seen people actually drinking them.
It costs about P120++ per bottle. Theme: Food and Drink

After exploring Sumaguing Cave, we dropped by Gabay's for some FREE wine tasting. They sell guava, strawberry, and blueberry wines for PhP140 (US$3.00). The blueberry wine appealed to my taste so i bought one for my dad (which I offered to my godfather instead). They also sell coffee, mountain rice, and other food items. Kung biyahe kau via banaue or baguio, mas ok kung bibili nadin kau mga souvenirs bago makarating ng sagada, kasi mas astig pag iba route naman gamitin nyo pauwi para makadagdag sa laboy. Tulad namin, via autobus kami bound to banaue nun papunta sagada, at bili na kami souvenirs sa banaue kasi plan namin to take baguio route via lizardo bus pauwi from sagada. kaya ndi namin na-miss things to buy sa banaue. ahaha
t-shirts mejo mahal na, sa banaue at sagada.. pero meron naman mga P170 for two shirts na sa baguio. sa banaue / sagada range ng t-shirt price eh mga P120-130 per t-shirt. When I say t-shirt, I am pertaining to island souvenir t-shirts ah.. ahhaha hindi sa ukay ukay, but intend namin visit ng ukay2 though, while we were in baguio, pero na-short sa oras.. ahahaha
mga P500, ok na para sa t-shirt mo at pasalubong na t-shirt sa kamag-anak sa manila Theme: Men's Clothes

The market day for Sagada is every Saturday only, in front of the Saint Joseph..(main street) Locals sell their fresh produce, (vegetables and fruits) on the makeshift stalls, ... The sellers are very friendly and enjoy talking to the tourists, they would offer some sample, for you to taste, before buying..
The fruits being sold are very fresh and just harvested on early morning of market day.. Try the Sagada oranges, .. and freshly boiled peanuts..
Cash, peso only Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: on Main Street of Sagada, ... ( there is no street name )
