Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park is located in Tigdok, a barrio of the town of Tudela. Tigdok is about 20 kilometers from Ozamis. The park has a restaurant that serve delicious and cheap food. The restaurant is ideally located right on the water. You have to walk a good kilometer along wooden plank with bamboo posts above the water to be able to reach the restaurant. Water is clear and you can see fishes and crabs swimming around. One can see the Dolphin Island across the sea. Boat fare to the island costs P130. It has seven dolphins as part of it's attraction. Said island is now attracting foreign divers coz of the coral reefs.
Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park also has a mini-zoo where monkeys can be found. Entrance fee to the park costs P10.

In Tangub City, the Hoyohoy Highland Park offers magnificent views of the urban centers of Ozamis and Tangub, Panguil Bay and Lanao del Norte. It has great potential as an eco-tourism center. The area is accessible by a 30 minute ride from the city proper. To be able to fully appreciate it's beauty, you have to hike to reach to the top of a hill where there's a kiosk that offers spectacular views of the area. You have to be physically fit to be able to reach there coz it requires considerable stamina. But once you reach the top, it's well worth it. It has mountain view as backdrop. Some rode motorbikes to reach the area. It's an ideal place for dating with its cool mountain air and nice views. But if you don't want to hike, you can still enjoy the views from the cottage below. You can park your car in front of the cottage.

I haven't recognized that this pier before is lovely in the morning breeze until I got here again last June 3rd week. The sky was just blue and the water was very pretty and a perfect day for photo ops..;-)

The Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion Cathdral is the home of the 2nd largest bamboo pipe of the Philippines and until now they keep it use and are available to locals and tourists..
