We discovered a small church called "The Shrine of Jesus- The Way,The Truth & The Life" after our shopping & food trip at SM Mall of Asia. This spiritual center with a very long name is an architectural beauty inside and out. Its doors are open to the public - to the tired and weary soul, as well as to the simply curious one. Decent clothes are recommended though: No-no to flesh-baring attire like short shorts, tank tops, etc.
It was particularly awesome and more beautiful during the past Christmas holidays, with its Christmas lanterns, lights and changing color spotlight.

Located inside the Villamor Airbase, one should not miss to see the heritage of the Philippine Airforce by visiting the PAF Museum. Actually, the museum is just after the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
Expect to see the following:
1. dioramas depicting battles fought by Filipino airmen,
2. old uniforms and weapons
3. Colors of the Philippine Airforce
4. Pictures of past Officer-In-Charge
5. Airplanes and helicopters that were used by the soldiers
6. Real scale model of cockpits
7. Pictures of the Commanding Generals of PAF
8. and many more.

It is really worth visiting the Mall of Asia either during the day or night. If you will stay until night, music lovers would enjoy listening to live bands especially during the weekend. 2 stage temporary stage were erected for the gigs of the bands. These can be found at the west side of the Mall (fronting Manila Bay).
Sometimes there are also live performance at the North side (near SM Hypermarket).
For those who want to just stroll around, just sit and relax and enjoy the facade of the Mall which is brightened by the different spot colored spotlights.

Spectacular fireworks greeted me when I arrived at the Mall of Asia to attend the vt meeting for two Malaysian vters. I always love watching fireworks. I don't know what special occasion the mall has at that time, though.

Prior to the opening of Mall of Asia, this is the only building here in the reclamated area. Church goers can experience solemnity while praying inside the church because of tranquil surrounding. I hope that will still be the same now that the place was commercialized with the opening of Mall of Asia
The church was said to be built also by the Sy family (owner of SM Mall of Asia).
Wearing of shorts, sleeveless shirt and sleepers is not allowed in the church.

Travel the whole Philippines in this Heritage Park.
Unfortunately, the park was reduced in land area to give way for future development of some government projet. There was a plan to relocate the said park at the reclamation area at Paranaque City but until now the project has not started.
The only area left was the Mayon Volcano.
