Resort's World Manila

by machomikemd

the first integrated Mutli-Gaming and Shopping Area in Manila. it is located in the sprawling Newport City Complex. it's anchor is the huge Resortsworld casino and has A Marriot Hotel awnd Maxim's Hotel and is just across the new NAIA Terminal 3. This Huge Resorts world complex is a partnership of Resorts World International BHD with local filipino partners and is just one of the three Resorts World Complexes in Asia (the other ones are in Genting Malaysia and Singapore, pls see my tips there of other resorts world) but is definitely the smallest huhuhu since it does not have its own amusement park like the genting amusement park in resorts world genting or the universal studios in resorts world singapore. Inside the huge complex is about 1,574 hotel rooms, a 30,000 square meter (323,000 square feet) casino and a 30,000 square meter shopping mall (will do separate tips of each)

Star City

by kemisteryoso

I am not a fun of theme parks but this is the first one I ever visited 5 years ago. I had so much fun and before I migrated to Canada, me and my 2 best buddies in traveling paid a visit and nurtured our inner child within. What I like about this park is its proximity and accessibility as well as it was organized and have lots of things to offer. I enjoyed the Star Flyer which is the first inverted roller coaster ride in the country and imported from California and also the Surf dance. I just love it. We also tried the Snow World which is like winter inside with ice sculptures. Don't forget to try the max Rider, it's like airsoft though it uses laser technology. The 3 of us lose on this game and we only had 2 opponent :) It's our first time so we have good reason to lose :) There are lots of games as well if you want to bring home stuffies. It's better to come during weekdays because there...

Spa at Wensha

by kemisteryoso

If you want to relax have a massage, try Wensha spa which is open 24/7. It is a lot cheaper than other spas for 580 pesos, you can avail of an hour-long full-body massage, free use of the shower, pools, sauna, and steam room and there's free buffet food. You can stay there for 6 hours. The locker rooms were good, with padded benches, lots of toiletries, and a wristband that serves as your key. The massage was great and they are good at it. I had a full body massage. The place was quite clean and spacious.

Visit the SM Science Discovery Center

by mikoykoy

Visiting this center is a good opportunity for students and enthusiasts of science discoveries to see inventions and simulations of what the science world is about. Aside from the planetarium which is the main attraction, visitors can check out other section in the center such as the virtual reef, earthquake simulators, robotics, image port and the grossology (simulates different gross smell... yikes)Price per head: P330.00I recommend the place although the entrance fee is a little bit expensive.

Have a glimpse of the GlobAmaze and watch it as the graphic moves; located at the front of Mall of Asia, the first and only full global video display in Asia with its high resolution and full display graphics made possible by the LED’s 26,300 pieces of point lights.

Mall of Asia

by kemisteryoso

The Mall of Asia was constructed within the reclamation area in Roxas Boulevard in Pasay. it is the 3rd largest shopping mall in the Philippines and the 4th largest shopping mall in the world according to Forbes. It has a land area of 42 hectares. It was opened to the public on 2006.All SM malls are owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, under the management of Henry Sy, a Filipino-Chinese business tycoon. There's huge bronze circle similar to that of the Universal Studios Theme Parks. The first IMAX theater can be found on the mall. I actually watched Superman before on this theater. It has a good view of the Manila bay and sunset. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from mostly are located at the 2nd level of the mall facing the bay. There's a park with some bars at the bay area outside the mall.
