This is the bizzarely named beach bar attached to Nigi Nigi Nu Noos Resort, near boat station 2. The bar is very popular with expats and tourists alike, and has some of the friendliest bartenders around. There is also a good restaurant there, serving a wide range of snacks and main courses. I highly recommend the fishfingers, Chicken Satay and the Chicken Mandarin. Happy hour is from 5 - 7pm.

Juice Bar is located on the corner of the Plazoleta (near station 2), home of most of the arts and crafts in Boracay. It's in a pretty busy area so there's always something going on, and it attracts a lively crowd. The music at Juice is not always to my taste - they tend to play a lot of "R'n'B" but the decor is nice, there's a varied menu of cocktails, and the service is usually good. There are comfy cushions and beanbags outside to sit on, and a nice friendly mix of people.

There's always the latest disc spinning and a local+tourist crowd drinking from 10 or so 'til 5 when the party drifts across the street. It's easy to settle into this congenial spot each night and have a chat with those around. Find a new friend or just drink in the crowd.
Are you kidding? Come as you are. Some kind of footgear is probably smart - other wise it's beach chic all the way... Theme: Adult SpotAddress: http://www.travelsmart.net/ph/resorts/Boracay/CocoDirections: Any trike can get you there for 100 php or less

Local Performers by asianbelle Plazoleta is an open air activity center flanked by shops selling local crafts on its sides. I am not sure if it's a regular Sunday thing or just a special activity on that day being the Chinese New Year, but we came across this performance of a local band. The band members, who look like natives of the island, are composed of several guys and a lone female. Their musical instrument is mostly drums of different sizes and the guys make use of their hands in playing them. The only female in the group dances to the tune.
This is an informal performance and come as you are. The audience, including us, are mostly passers by who got attracted to the local music being played by the band, decided to stop for a while to watch and listen. Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicAddress: Plazoleta, Boat Station 2, White Beach

Great music, extremely friendly bar tenders, cheap drinks with nightly happy hour from 8.30-9.30pm, and most famous for Still Standing after 15 concoctions. Not to forget the down-to-earth and accommodating big boss John - the Canadian bar owner. Cool to be one! (as pictured). Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: Boracay Island, Station 1

eating and partying out by maple_air The night just bustles away from sundown to sun up. Whether you want to dance the night away, listen to a live band, doing crackin' songs, or be entertained by the acoustic music of the lone guitarist in the corner, Boracay just sizzles.
Cool as can be, you can just wear anything you want. Remember its a party place in the beach. And summer nights can really be hot, so try on the coolest outfit you can find. Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music

Lounging in Cocomangas by syllybabe Cocomangas has been around for a long time and is still a favorite for hanging out on the mats with huge pillows while watching tv (the world cup was on last time I was there) with friends, feasting on the best pizza on the island, playing pool, or, better yet, trying to down 15 different shooters and have your name added to the list on the scoreboard to bring drunken honor to your country! I've been to Boracay many, many times but I've never even attempted it...especially because I've never seen anyone finish 15 and was actually still STANDING after.
Absolutely anything you wear on the beach is fine here, too. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking

Syl and Marge by syllybabe Frozen Margaritas here are served in jars...about the same size and kind as the ones for mayonnaise. At happy hour, you get two! Try not to have too much or you get as smiley as this :-) Photo of Syl taken after 3 jars of frozen margaritas with...a real Margarita! Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking

hobbit house by arni_ph075 Hobbit House is a famous bar in Malate, established since 1973, and its major attraction is that they got live music, great food and the waiter and waitress are little people, like a hobbit, (slightly like dwarfs). The place is well known for the hobbits serving food to all guests , even before the Lord of the Ring series. Very recently they branch out one in Boracay D'Mall , beside Rumba's along the rotonda. A new addition to waterholes of Boracay, great place to listen to live music.

This little beach bar (currently without a name) is run by JoJo and Mike, formerly of BomBom Bar. It's a nice place to stop for a chat and a cocktail, and is one of the few places to retain that 'old Boracay vibe'. The friendly guys can whip up all manner of creations for you, and there's a nice driftwood beach garden to relax in. Just hope it doesn't rain though, as there's no roof!
