The rather oddly named CNN Cafe is located just a few steps away from the Tourist Center on White Beach. Like many Boracay restaurants, it opens up onto the beach path, and has a nice view of the sea.
CNN has earned a very good reputation for itself since it's opening around a year ago, and the Swiss owner & chef Pascal prides himself on turning out top quality meals.
While waiting for your food, you can catch the international news on a the large, flat-screen TV on the wall (the volume is usually turned down, but there are subtitles).
The place is a little lacking in cosy ambiance - I usually go there for breakfasts and lunches with the girls as opposed to evening meals, but friends of mine have been very impressed with the dinner menu too.
Favorite Dish: I've been back several times for the delicious rostis. I like mine with bacon, onion, tomato and cheese - they come with an egg on top.
The mushroom and cheese omelette was also pretty good, though the toast was a bit dry.
I'm not a fan of hot drinks, but my friend was very impressed with the large pot of freshly brewed coffee she ordered with her breakfast.

When most restaurants close down for the evening, you'll begin to find these BBQ carts roaming the alleys tempting you with skewers upon skewers of spicy pork, beef and chicken. They are unbelievably cheap and fresh since they're made to order. It's funny that some of the tastiest eats on Boracay happen to also be mobile.
Favorite Dish: Spicy Pork BBQ is my favourite but I like to get an assortment.

Between Boat Landing 2 and 3 we stumble upon Ai Pazzi and order up some food. I was completely wowed by their fare, I have not tasted stuff like this since Italia! Apparently some time ago the restaurant's owner was in Boracay just like I was, fell in love with the locale and decided to leave Italy and stay on in Boracay permanently. This is my favourite restaurant on the island. Also visit their sister restaurant: La Nova Capanina.
Favorite Dish: Broiled Squid - very good
Frutti Di Mare Pizza - Sooooooo good! Spicy, topped with fresh seafood on a super thin crust.

Situated on the first floor it might be hard to spot (look for the neon bull sign), but once on the balcony with a 35 pesos San Miguel beer and light sea breeze you're right there. The owner is German and he serves delicious Italian (pasta and pizza), German (Schnitzel) Swiss (if one can say this is delicious) and international food. The steaks are great as well this being a steak house - the beef is imported from Australia, they say. There's seldom a free table and it's a must try place. Professional staff and fairly priced this being a tourist paradise. There are several places that charges more for less of everything (especially quality).
I only regret I learned of the steak house one of my last days in Boracay...
Favorite Dish: The hamburger is actually nice. Not very big, so remember to order some pan fried potatoes on the side.

Quick, friendly and attentive service.
We ordered a beef appetizer (forgot what it was called, but it was excellent - came served with their special bread), a seafood fettucine, a 4-cheese pizza and a beer - all for US$19 for the 2 of us. The pasta and appetizer were divine, but the 4-cheese pizza didn't hit the right spot. While at least 3 kinds of cheese had melted, one hadn't, so it stuck to the roof of the mouth and gave that extra, unwanted, dry feeling. Apart from this minor short-coming, the rest of the meal was excellent.

We ordered the German pork sausage - it was so divine that we ordered another! Then came the T-bone steak with a side order of mashed potatoes and a San Mig - the bill for this two-person dine was all of US$15!!!

If you're craving for Italian/Mediterranean inspired cuisine, head over to Aria which is located right at the entrance of D'Mall. You can choose to dine within it's cozy interior, or al fresco. Make sure you try their wood oven-baked pizza, lamb and baked chicken with rosemary.

It was my last night in Boracay and about a 1 1/2 weeks into my Philippines Vacation. So i was kinda missing my all American Hamburger. When i went to dinner at Hey jude i noticed that they had it on the menu, so of course i had to get it. Big mistake! It was not very good, in fact it was horrible. They say its all american on the menu but its far from it. And to top it all off the service matched the taste. We always had to flag someone down when we wanted something. Other than that, i guess the rest was OK. Its a nice place right on the beach, oh yeah 1 more negative, they blasted some form of house music the whole time and it was really loud. Now if it was hip hop i wouldnt have minded... Maybe i just ordered the wrong thing and came on the wrong night. I cant really conclude anything about the place on one visit alone...

Jammers is known for its burgers but I only eat fish and chips there. Never tried the burgers. The fish is huge and the fries are crunchy. Best way to cap the night is by eating here but if my memory serves me right, I've eaten fish and chips for breakfast here, lunch and a mid-afternoon break. The fish and chips will only cost about Php150/$3.
This is situated outside the entrance of D Mall opposite Aria.
