Starting at Budget Mart on the Main Road, in Station 2, all the way through to White Beach D'MALL is a one stop shopping experience. Here you will find designer clothes, souvenir shops, upscale and budget restaurants.
There is also a Market offering fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood.
I have posted pictures of "Sally's Seashells Station" one of the stalls there offering fresh seafood (Pics #1, 2, 3 & 4).

D Mall is the main shopping area right off the beach. Need a hat? A freshly gutted tuna? a haircut? Assorted t shirts? Almost anything you need can be found here, most of it very cheap. They even have a dentist! D Mall is an outdoor maze of shops between the main road and White Beach. Most places will haggle prices with you, but to get the best price it helps to have a Filipino with you.

What to buy: almost anything.

What to pay: most stuff is cheap. We got hats for $3. Good quality hats! And you can bargain with the vendors.

kiosks: Along the white beach path

tidzy 128 reviews

There are a lot of kiosks and stalls lined up along the white beach path selling jewelry. Some offer hair braids and henna and glitter tattoos.

What to buy: Simple trinkets made from beads, shells and synthetic pearls make for nice gifts for family and friends.

What to pay: For P100, you can buy a lot of trinkets. The trick is, of course, to haggle.

Boracay Books: Books in Boracay

Run out of reading material for the beach? Don't panic! You can now buy new and used books at the newly opened Boracay bookstore, located in the Plazoleta near boat station 2.
Reading material is not easy to come by in Boracay, though some resorts and hotels may have a few books you can borrow, and tourists often swap with each other.
If you are in the neighbourhood, call in to Dave's straw Hat Inn (just south of boat station 3), where you can trade or borrow books, as well as use the internet and have a bite to eat in friendly surroundings.

Hard at work

This is my favourite little shop in the Plazoleta; it is owned and run by a local musician and artist called Diango. You can see him at work creating beautiful handmade leather bags, some of them adorned with puka shells, beads, or bells made by the T'Boli tribe from Mindanao. No two bags are the same so they make lovely gifts (if you can bear to part with them)!

What to buy: Bags, lamps, sarongs, drums, clothing and other arts and crafts.

What to pay: Bags start at around P1200

Bongo Drums

There are several shops in the Plazoleta selling native instruments and crafts. You can buy bongo drums of all different sizes, flutes, pan pipes and rain-sticks, and if you are lucky, the musicians will be around to give you a demonstration.

What to buy: Aside from the beautifully crafted instruments, you can buy hand made leather bags, bamboo lightshades inset with coloured glass, unusual jewellry, windchimes, and many other treasures.

Funky Lighting sell a weird and wonderful variety of lamps in many different styles and colours, and they are all hand made on the island. You won't have seen anything quite like these before.

What to buy: There are many different styles, some made from handmade paper, others made from cocoa or mango leaves. Check out the cute 'gecko' lamp.

What to pay: Prices vary. They can also arrange for orders to be packed and shipped home for you.
