This is still part of this group of crocodile islands, here seen upclose. If you noticed , it is like one big rocky million year old rock/ coral really. It is also around this area that you can actually snorkel around or swim with the fish. This is the Fish sanctuary, and as our tour guide told us, fishing around this area is prohibited. Don't forget to bring your bread to feed the fish. I don't dive, and snorkling around this area is the closest i could get to them. My, my, what beautiful creatures they are, you see them in all color and sizes...blue, red, orange, some with stripes, some small, and some are big.
A trip to Boracay should include a skindiving trip to Crocodile Island. The marine life near crocodile island is quite diverse. There are corals and colorful fish. The fish were small though compared to that of Balicasag near Cebu.
After the skindiving trip, I had a deeper appreciation for Boracay's natural resources and an urge to do something to conserve the island from deteriorating into a "Matabungkay". Too bad, I didn't buy a disposable underwater camera to take pictures of the marine life.
This rock formation as its name suggests, Crocodile island, if seen from afar, looks like a resting crocodile
