Magical Sunsets

Favorite thing: The somewhat rugged coastline offers some excellent opportunities for photography, especially around sunset. We timed this particular trip so that we left for Boracay (by sailboat) just before sunset and arrived in Boracay before dark.

Raymond and Rainbows!

Favorite thing: You'll need to bring absolutely everything with you, as there are no facilities here. Food, drinks and snorkel gear can all be procured in Boracay, and bring a sarong or towel, sunblock and a hat. Toilet paper is also very useful - don't get caught short!
The purpose of coming to a quiet, scenic spot like this is simply to relax, enjoy the peace and tranquility, and make your own entertainment. Or you could bring a book!

Collecting Shellfish

Favorite thing: These guys looked as if they were walking on water. In fact they were collecting shellfish. The water is extremely shallow around Bong-Bongan Beach, so if you are planning on wading around during low tide, be sure to bring slippers/flip-flops or dive shoes and beware of urchins. It's best to visit this beach when the tide is high.

Picnic or BBQ

BBQ - Native Style

Favorite thing: This little beach has no facilities (such as bars & restaurants) so you'll need to pack a picnic and an ice-box full of cold drinks. Suitable things to bring are bread, cheese, ham, cold chicken, salami etc - these things are easy to find in Boracay - just head for one of the delis.
You could also ask your boat-man to arrange a cooked BBQ on the beach for you. Just tell him in advance what you'd like to eat (fish steaks, pork, chicken, roast potatoes, salad etc) and then enjoy a delicious meal on the beach.
