Air Philippines from Naga City

by monina_c

There is a daily flight to and from Naga City. If by misfortune you fail to get a seat on the PAL flight from Legazpi to Manila, you can drive to Naga City (2 hrs) and catch the 8am flight of the Airphils. The fare is a few hundred pesos cheaper than that of PAL's. Check their website for promo fares.

Scenic Land Travel From Naga To Albay

by cyndymc

If you'll be coming from Naga City, go to the Central Bus Station (near SM) and just look for the buses in queue bound for the different towns/cities of Albay. There are big signs indicating the destinations of buses. If possible, take a seat by the window on the left side to enjoy the scenic countryside views and a glimpse of Mt. Isarog and Mayon Volcano.

How To Go To Albay By Land From Manila

by cyndymc

If you intend to commute by land, consider any of several aircon tourist bus companies plying the Manila-Legazpi route daily. Travel time to Legaspi is about 9 hours , passing through scenic roads of other Albay towns.

Bus to and from Legazpi City

If you live in the Laguna area, Philtranco and Amihan bus lines have a ticketing office in Turbina. The ticketing office is open until the last trip and they also have a phone number. Amihan cellphone number: 09284223412. Unfortunately I was not able to get the number of Philtranco. there is also another bus line there, JLH (?) but they don't have a ticketing office and you just have to wait for the bus to arrive. But they do have an aircon and non aircon buses. Note: make sure that the ticketing officer writes your name in the trip manifest (seating plan).Bus fare for the non air-con bus of Philtranco is Php 600. Take the non aircon bus only if you have no other choice (like what happend to us). The bus ride to Legazpi is 10-12hrs and the road in some parts of Quezon are being fixed so it is very dusty and hot. The night trip (leaving Turbina at 5pm) has only one stop over somewhere in...

isarog lazyboy x-treme bus is the way to go!

by uysijessa

we were looking for a cheaper way of going to albay and heard from friends that there were now buses that go to albay which weren't so expensive and offered lots of leg room and wide, reclining seats so we decided to check them out. We booked tickets with isarog bus lines supposedly from manila to legazpi because we heard that they had a bus with seats like those in the business class section of an airplane, a toilet and departed at night. when we got to the terminal we found out that we got the wrong tickets and the bus stops at naga! good thing we were told that we could get off at the naga terminal and hop onto another isarog bus that's headed to legazpi and just pay extra. anyway if you want something cheaper do take the isarog bus. here's why:- if you're planning to take the "lazyboy x-treme" reserve seats early! seats are very limited and easily sold out.- make sure to get the...

Comfortable Bus Trip

by i-s-a

We went to Tabaco bus station and was able to get a ticket for Manila from RSL Bus Transport Corporation. The ticket price is P762 but I was able to get a student fare which is 20% lower at P610 (I have no student ID but the cashier says I look young enough hehe). Senior citizens also get a 20% fare discount.RSL (Executive Class) buses are new, has roomy leg space (bigger than most buses) and cool ACU so it was a comfortable ride home. The trip took 11 hours!...a night schedule would be advisable. There is a big demand for tickets so buy one in advance and be sure to follow the notice below:NOTICE FOR PASSENGERS (By bus admin):1. Please check-in at the terminal at least 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time and must secure a boarding pass. otherwise, non-appearance at least 30 minutes before departure may mean that the accomodation may be forfeited in favor of chance passenger....
