We stayed overnight at Kayak Inn by the Tibiao River. Nobody from our group was gutsy enough to try kayaking the mighty river which is fed by water springs from Mt. Madjaas. Instead, early in the morning, we hiked upstream for less than an hour to reach Bugtong Bato Falls ? a series of 7 cascading falls. The long walk is worth it considering the prize of a cold dip at the basin of the first 2 waterfalls, each about towering 12 to 15 meters. ?Whew! Nothing Beats this!? The second waterfall basin is just about 12 meters higher in elevation than the first one. The 5 other waterfalls upstream are not that easy to explore as our guide said, only for skilled climbers/rapellers.
Almost all the towns of Antique are by the seacoast facing west. Watching the golden sunset by the sea is but a natural relaxing and calming view when day is done. Grab a bottle of beer!!!
