These photos was the famous landmark of Sisiman however, it was destroyed by a strong typhoon. Now, photographers definitely would miss this area because of that iconic subject. It's a 3 hour drive from Manila passing thru San Fernando, Pampanga via Dinalupihan, Bataan.

TARAK RIDGE is 1006 MASL (ridge) and 1130 MASL (peak). Jump off point is in Brgy Alas-asin, Mariveles. One needs to register here before climbing up. Climbing up the ridge takes about 5-6 hours but one may opt to camp at papaya river. Tarak, which is somewhat of a cross between ‘Tabak’ (hunting knife) and ‘Tarik’ (steep). There is a scenic, 270-degree view of Bataan which includes the islands of Corregidor and neighboring islands, as well as Manila Bay all the way to Cavite.

Went to this restaurant after our site survey for one of our proposal project. Anyhow, the food taste average. We ordered seafood kare-kare (stewed in peanut), crispy pata (pork knuckles), pinakbet (mixed vegetable sauted with anchovy), and shrimp sinigang (tamarind soup).
The restaurant is built inside a leisure park. There is a pavilion for special occassions. There are lots of statue of animals and one security guard.
What I like most is the view of the Corregidor Island from the restaurant.
Favorite Dish: Seafood kare kare

Bataan Transit has its terminal in Cubao and Avenida. Take note of the bus schedule but sometimes it is not being followed. First trip is at 3am, hourly afterwards then last trip at 9pm. But when we went to Mariveles, I called up the bus terminal to ask for the schedule and they said that it is 24 hours (maybe because it is holiday). We arrived at the Fivestar terminal in Cubao before 12 midnight. This is where Bataan Transit Terminal is located. We missed the waiting bus because we are waiting for our companion. Then the bus left. We ask the dispatcher when is the next bus ride and he said at 3am. And so I replied to the dispatcher and said that ive called up earlier and the bus schedule is 24 hours. Well, thankful that he made a move by asking the next bus to come out though it took us time to wait.
