Driving to Anvaya Cove From Manila

by machomikemd Written Aug 25, 2014

The Travel Time from Manila to Anvaya Cove Depend on the route you are taking, if you are taking the San Fernando-Olongapo Road to Subic Freeport then to Morong Gate and Anvaya Cove, It will take 150 kilometers or a 4 hour drive (as the San Fernando-Olongapo Road is a busy road), If taking the SCTEX from Angeles City in Clark Freeport going to Subic Freeport and to Anvaya Cove, It will be about 180 kilometers but it takes less than 3 hours as you will be travelling along the SCTEX which is an expressway.

There are no Tour Companies going to Morong, so you either rent a van with a driver or do the driving yourself.

Going to Morong by public transport

    by monina_c Written Mar 9, 2011

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

I was with a tour group when I went to visit Morong. But I talked with some locals and they said that you can get on a bus (Genesis or Bataan Transit with stations along EDSA, Cubao) with signboard Balanga. The common terminal in Balanga has minibuses and jeeps that go straight to Morong.

    Boats for Beach Hopping

by cyndymc Updated May 25, 2010

Local boatmen may be hired to bring you to other beaches or other sites where you'd like to snorkel. It is best to coordinate with your Resort so if anything untoward happens to you, at least the Manager would know where you went, and who brought you there.

    Ordinary bus

by freycinetti Written Mar 17, 2003

going to morong from the city proper, Balanga, takes 2 hours in an ordinary bus, meaning, local transportation where no a/c available. you can feel the heat. and the road is long and winding passing along the uphill. no schedules are available. but the last trip is at 5 in the afternoon going back to Balanga. so if you really wanna enjoy the trip and experience night life in Morong, bring a car with you.
