Coming from Manila, visitors have the option to go to almost any part of Bataan by bus. Bus companies plying the highways of the province are Genesis, Bataan Transit, Sinulog and Victory Liner. The last two passing only Dinalupihan...it goes to Olongapo as its final destination rather than Balanga.Genesis has terminals at Pasay (beside the MRT Terminal) and Avenida (at the back of Philippine Rabbit terminal). Bataan Transit in Avenida (beside Genesis) and in Cubao (same terminal as 5 Star buses).Manila Routes would be Avenida and Pasay....Bataan would be Balanga and Mariveles. Road conditions in Bataan are very good in the most part of the province and improving at a rapid rate, due to a concerted effort by the provincial government. The turnoff to Bataan from the Olongapo- Gapan Road at Dinalupihan is clearly marked. The road forks three km. Further on; the left turn being the coastal road, passing through major towns. This road is no longer continuous and cut near Orion and Limay.By veering right at the junction, you cab travel on the Roman Superhighway, which saves considerable travel time. The capital Balanga can be reached in about 25 minutes from Dinalupihan turnoff, while it is a further 45 minutes drive to Mariveles and the Bataan Special Economic Zone.

Ferry service from Manila to Bataan is now available. Travel time is considerably shorter than if you were to travel by bus or car to Bataan from Manila. From Manila, you embark/disembark from PICC in Roxas Boulevard. The port on the Bataan side is in Orion. The trip takes 1 hour. That is considerably shorter than the 2 - 5 hour drive it would take you if you were to take a car or bus to Bataan from Manila. The Ferry is airconditioned and faily safe.If you have a tendency towards sea sickness, avoid the last trip which happens in the late afternoons. That is the time that water tends to be a bit choppy although you can be assured that if the situation is a bit dangerous, the ferry service will not continue. The first trip is 6:30 Am.
