Vandalism and Garbage........
I dont know if this fall on this category...
but this should be brought up........
This kind of act should not be done here in Batanes......
they are ruining......the place itself..........
and it is sad..that this is happening here.......
to all the tourist who will go here in Batanes.......
make your share....dont vandals....and another thing...dont just throw plastics....plastic bottles anywhere....let us all help protect Batanes against these things....Related to:

all those registration fees do add up
if you travel with a guide, there is no way out of it. You have to pay 50 pesos or 100 pesos to visit a town. Sort of a registration fee. If you travel alone you could just ignore it.
Then there is the 50 pesos per person permit when you arrive in Batanes= some form of protected area permit. I saw some people ignore this. But being conscientious and not knowing any better, we paid. I guess its one way of helping the province.Related to:

You don't really need to pay P500 for airport transfer. Everything is so close by! There are tricycles parked outside the airport. And I am positive you won't pay more than P100 for each trip. All the relevant inns are 5 min away by motorcycle. Probably 15 min by foot. Batanes Seaside might be a little farther away at 15 min by motorcycle.Related to:
