At Malabrigo Point (the southernmost part of Batangas), you can find an unmanned lighthouse that started operating in 1896. The complex includes a lightkeeper's dwelling and a utility building. Although frequented by visitors, this structure of bricks, wood and wrought iron still remains quite preserved. It is now under the admnistration of the Philippine Coast Guard who upgraded it with a modern solar-powered light.

To get there, you can drive up via a rough road besides the Dawas Place Resort. You can also just can climb up the sea cliff from the Punta Malabrigo Beach Resort--- there is a concrete stairway.
