Baclayon Church is one of the oldest churches in Bohol or maybe in the whole country. It is an enormous church where you can see strong Spanish influences from the pulpit to the church's altar. The first time that I saw this church, I thought it was made out of limestone, which the province is quite abundant with. However upon further research, the church is actually made from corals cemented by egg whites and lime.
What's unique about this church is it has a museum of antique saints and other religious artifacts, If you're one of those people who gets creeped out with large statues of saints then I guess you won't enjoy going inside there.
Take note that the personnel inside the church do not allow women to come inside wearing sleeveless and super short shorts so they'll give you this floral frock for covering. So if you want to have your picture taken inside the church better wear something appropriate.
