The food is not really great. I only ate it because I was really hungry. Well if food isn't great, the view is. Mangroves and clear waters are what you gonna see. By the end of the cruise, you will go to this place where children are in ati-atihan costume. Take pictures and give them some money in return. You also get to be entertained with a singer while on the cruise.

We've communed with nature as we navigate Loboc River while eating lunch. The food served at "long river cruise" is not as exotic and satisfying as the view of loboc river. But still the experience is one of a kind as the Loboc River is calm and unpolluted not like our very own Pasig River in Manila. The floating restaurant is made of a roofed platform on top of two large bancas which are joined together. We were entertained by a local singer and we made a stop at a dock where loboc children perform dances and sing local hymns.

You can cruise Loboc River and eat at the same time all for 300pesos. Fee also includes entrance fee to see a Tarsier. While cruising " Manong singer " will entertain you of songs..There is also a simple presentation from the Loboc people.

We were charged P250 per person, but we had the short end of the deal on this one. Arriving around 2:00pm, there aren’t much people already. And all the happy people seem to be boarded in this boat we met on their way back. And personally, I don’t find the food delicious at all. They are barely passing to my taste.

Oh well, at least the scenes are gorgeous and I get to spend this cruise with my girl (to the tune of your latest and not-so-latest love songs).

A nice article about the Loboc River tourism

The cruise along the Loboc River included a lunch buffet and a guy playing the guitar & singing to the crowd. The cruise was very relaxing & the food was fresh and nice.

Along the river, we saw children swimming and playing at the river.

We were charged P250 per pax for this cruise which included the lunch buffet and transfers.

Don't miss this on your trip to Bohol. :)

There are 2 ways on how you can cruise along Loboc River -- the big floating boat/restaurant and the little boats. They say the food at the floating restaurant is really good but since I wasn't hungry that time, I opted for the little boat which was also a nice experience because you could go on your own pace and stop anywhere to take pictures.

Take a trip up the Loboc River and enjoy the sights swimming.
You can enjoy the boat ride and swim in the River.
You can even jump or slide the waterfalls, great for those looking for an adrenalin rush.
Before the boat ride you can see the famous Tasiers (Small monkeys) and after you can enjoy lunch at a Riverside Restaurant.

Take the Loboc River Cruise while in Bohol. It's quite an experience. It's not your fancy airconditioned cruise with international cuisine, but just as nice. While on board, local musicians will entertain you whilst you eat local food. The cruise will take about an hour, and embark / disembark at the same spot. There's also an option to take a private cruise for only a small group, but will cost more.

We had our lunch on a floating restaurant after visiting the chocolate hills. Feel one with nature while river cruising, enjoy the cool green trees, mountains and the music of the local band.
