habal-habal or backride (motorbike) is the cheapest way to go around bohol... i took this mode of transpo when i had my countryside tour a week ago. thou it is cheap (i paid 750 pesos only for the whole day tour) there are pros and cons to consider. cons - it causes back ache thus you can had a massage along the beach after, not safe if no helmet provided, sunburn. pros - it is fast and cheap.
I would like to invite everyone to behold "BOHOL"-God's little paradise. Embrace the eco-cultural experience in this oval-shaped island endowed natural beauty and historical sites. And for those who want to explore the wonders of Bohol, they can offer you different kinds of tour packages that will meet to your budget. They also have transportations from cars to buses that you can rent for the tour. It's very affordable than outside. It's a suppliers rate. You can contact them at 038-411-4568 or at 038-501-7588. You can text them also at 09218169115 or 09064971010. Or you can email them at email@example.com or you can send them a message through ym sms at nf_transporttours_bohol.....
For your Bohol Tour, I would recommend Mang Rey's service.
He'll be your driver and tour guide. He knows all the good places to visit (Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, Tarsier, etc.) , plus he's very nice!
He drives a Nissan Urvan, which is spacious and very cool - ideal for families.
The rate we got is P3000 whole day tour (inclusive of diesel, which is so expensive nowadays).

If you want to spend your whole trip to Bohol mostly in Panglao Island, get an early flight to Tagbilaran, so you can still visit Chocolate Hills or other tourist sites that are just near the city. This way, you can maximize your trip and you'll get to experience the local life as well.
Hi, yes u can visit cebu main attractions within 4 hours like the Sto Nino church, Fort San Pedro, Magellan\s Cross and maybe the Chinese temples if u still have more time (depending on ur pace). Private car transpo cost 1,500 will pick u up from airport , take u the sights then drop you off at the seaport. With regards to the flight back to Manila via Cebu, this is ok if everything is on schedule, u can check in at Mactan Intl airport even 45minutes before the flight departure. Stay longer in Bohol, savor the beach and the tours there, well worth it..
We were very satisfied with the services of Kuya Rod. At P2200, we were able to tour Bohol countryside visiting various tourist spots & have dinner first in Tagbilaran City before going to our resort in Panglao Island. The van is quite nice & new. Aircon is great. No odor inside & quite clean. We also paid P450 for the resort to pier transfer. It was nice of Rod to let us visit Bohol Bee Farm before proceeding to the pier. Great service!
Weesam Fastcraft is one among the three serving Cebu-Tagbilaran route & back. The other two being Supercat & Oceanjet. It serves the 7am route. We choose this vessel coz of the time slot. The trip to Bohol was nice & pleasant but we were totally disappointed with the trip back. They told us that the aircon seats are full & we were given viewing deck area which is hot, noisy coz of the engine & not comfortable at all. We vowed never to ride this seacraft again! Fare P575 roundtrip.
Renting a motorbike is the best option for me because its the cheapest, i enjoy the nature the way i wanted, i have been to all possible tourist spots known and unknown, and you can go as far as you can go. For only 800 per 24 hours, I got all the memories of entire Bohol. They will give you discount for 5days renting..Cool ha.
You could take a ferry (supercat/weesam jet) if you'll be coming from Cebu going to Tagbilaran (or vice versa). it takes only 1 to 1+1/2 hr (one way). It's not scary, beleive me, my first ride was fine, actually inside the weesam jet was designed as what the plane look like, with attendants as well..hehehe you'll not get bored 'coz you could watch a movie, before the movie ends, you're already at your destination.
Buses are available as well for long road trip with minimal cost compare from hiring a cab. You can take a bus if you wished to go straight to Carmen and view the breath taking scenery of chocolate hills. And you could drop by to any other tourist spots 'coz some are just along the way. Recommended for single/twin traveler/s.
You can rent a motorcycle to go around Tagbilaran City and Panglao Island. Be sure to ask for helmets. And do not ride in the night, like what Joan and I did.
Coming from the Citadel Inn in Alona, we rented a habal-habal for P70 an hour ( I think we got screwed), and rode to Dumaluan beach after lunch. I took us quite a while to reach the place but it was still all good. We then enjoyed the marvelous sand and sea. Around 5:00pm we packed up our things. But instead of heading back to Alona, we decided to go to Tagbilaran. Big mistake as it was already quite dark when we arrived in Tagbilaran city. We didn’t get to do anything in the city because we just hurried back our way. We got to the inn at around 7:00pm! Riding on a road with no streetlights and were everywhere are trees, is quite an experience. But I don’t recommend it to anyone.
Fly to Tagbilaran for as low as P288 with Cebu Pacific. Book your flights as early as possible. Also a tip for low fares would be to book your flight to on the middle of the week.
Flight is about an hour and 15 minutes.
Join their in-flight games and you will win Cebu Pac goodies. I did win a camera bag on my way to Bohol, when I won the name that tune. The song is from South Border, which is one of my favorite bands (hah!)

you can travel around Bohol and have your hotel accomodations arranged via travel agencies like Travel Treats Tour Services. they package tours like a Countryside Tour that takes you from Tagbilaran City to the Blood Compact Site, Baclayon Church and Museum, Loboc River Cruise, Bilar Man-made Forest, Chocolate Hills and Sagbayan Peak. you can also request to go to Hinagdanan Cave in Panglao Island for an extra fee. their tours are ideal for groups of 4(for cars costing around P2,000) and groups of 14(for a van costing around P3,000). they also arrange your hotel accomodations at the same price as the hotel charges you for so it's less hassle for you. all you have to do is contact them and arrange for a hotel or inn in Panglao Island or Tagbilaran City(which is cheaper). you can also arrange for a Pamilacan Island Whale and Dolphin Watching Tour.
