Do not forget your cellphone charger @ home

by iclee

On our 1st trip to Bohol, we went to the city's biggest mall to hunt for a cellphone charger. You guessed right, we left it at home. The charger models that they have were clearly at least a year older than what is offered in Manila. Meaning, if you have a fairly new call model, they wont have your charger in stock.

Extra SD cards or laptop

by iclee

Bring extra SD cards because you'll be amazed on the photo opps here. Better yet, bring a storage facility like a laptop so you can transfer the photo soonest. We went to a mall and saw that the SD cards are expensive compared to Manila.

Underwater Camera and ZIPLOC

by iclee

We dumped our cellphones, wallets and cameras in separate gallon sized zippies for protection against sand and water. Am so glad we thought of it. Bring lots of ZIPLOC bags unless you want your camera gear full of sand. Spend less time cleaning your equipment and more time enjoying the scenery. I brought our new Canon D10 and it did wonders to our trip. The kids grew wild snorkelling and taking shots of fish feeding. Its battery life exceeded my expectation.

Comfort

by Orange_traveller

Any luggage or bags that is big enough to hold all your things plus your island purchases. Anything comfortable. Slippers for the beach. Comfortable footwear for a long day of walking. Swim suits. If you want to go snorkeling, you may want to bring your own gear or rent one for just 100 pesos. Sunblock or suntan lotions. Underwater camera to capture the moment!

MUST HAVES

by littlegirl0130

Torch

by yuet29

If you are staying at Nuts Huts, remember to bring a torch in case you have to walk back to the Huts when day turned dark. If it is a rainy day, be extra careful as the staircase can be slippery!
