    We had lunch at Alona Tropical Bar and Restaurant. The food was really good and the servings are really many, but it was a bit expensive compared to the other restaurants. and since I am a certified cheapskate, this does not go well with me... heehee.

  • I love the food during our stay in Bohol Beach Club. Most of their food are good for two people so it is relatively cheap considering it is an exclusive resort. I thought the food is going to be expensive also.

    You should try Sinigang na Tanigue and their Chopseuy.

    It's coconut all around the place. Young coconut offered by restaurants as refreshment drink is highly recommended as a drink for the health-conscious. Unadulterated, no-preservatives, organic - direct from nature's bounty.

    While taking a walk along the beach and getting tired or feeling thirsty after a while, take a break and have a "buko" for a recharge.

  • Had out evening meal at the Safety Stop a couple of times. We could choose from any of the outlets nearby. We just kept ordering beer from the bar and there was no problem.

    Fantastic Kebabs from the safety stop grill and those huge prawns from the outlet on the right as you look towards the sea.

    Beef Kebabs, Huge, Filling and with a great baked potato too!

    Those huge prawns from the next outlet.... why can we get them back home?

    We had the best meals on Alona Beach in this restaurant. Their menu reaches from indian to thai to german and filipino specialities.

  • Oops Bar is not only a great place to hang out and have a cocktail, it also offers a wide variety of Local and International cuisine.
    The price is good and so are the portions.

    Try the Cordon Bleu or the Thai-Curry, or enjoy a fresh Fish from the grill.

    the price is a little more expensive but worth your money.....

    i very much like their chicken and beef cordon bleu....... and since i'm an icecream lover, i love their banana split too.......

    Trudi's serve food that is quite similar to Captain's Grille but is a bit more expensive ---still it's reasonably priced. We also bought their homemade peanut butter and it was really good. =)
