    Explore Bohol
    1. Rent a car/van with driver and tour guide and go around Bohol to see the world-famous Chocolate Hills, swim and jump on the cool waters of Mag-Aso Falls, cruise the Loboc River with its floating and singing restaurants, view the Tarsier monkeys at the Philippine Tarsier and wildlife Sanctuary, see the bats at Hinagdanan Cave, pray at one of the oldest churches in the Philippines- the Baclayon Church or at Loboc church where they have the famous Loboc Children's Choir, walk along Bilar's Man-made forest, view the Blood-compact site between Legazpi and Sikatuna in Tagbilaran and eat at one of the many small and cheap but delicious restaurants in Tagbilaran City.

    2. Rent a boat for dolphin and whale-watching around Pamilacan Island and then go snorkeling on the coral and fish garden of Balicasag Island.

    3. Sail to one of the white-sand, uninhabited islands aroung Bohol sea and swim to your heart's content

Aesthetically, Dumaluan is prettier than Alona. Beach combers flock here because of its very shallow beach that resembles Boracay's White Beach. The most beautiful strip of Dumaluan is at Bohol Beach Club.

There's a public beach strip here with cottages and a grill restaurant with reasonably priced good-tasting seafood menus.

Alona Beach is about a kilometer stretch of coral white sand beach along the southeastern side of Panglao Island. Alona has been known as the homebase of scuba divers exploring the island's reefs, as well as the nearby islands'. The most beautiful strip of the beach is found on the northern part, currently occupied by the upscale Alona Palm Beach Resort.

    Alona
Alona is the most talked about beach on Panglao perhaps because it's where resorts cram together.

    Dolphin watching
At dawn, take a 30 minute boat ride from Alona beach to an area of the sea towards Balicasag Island and see dolphins surface! You would be able to see them up close, if your boatman, can manage it.

It's a fascinating experience - especially for children to see! I only hope that this activity won't cause the dolphins to move elsewhere!

    Diver's Haven
Balicasag Island is 30-45 minutes by boat from Alona Beach. After dolphin watching we proceeded to Balicasag Island for scuba diving . One of the best parts of our stay.
We went diving with Baywatch Divers. The cheapest so far. It's Filipino-owned.
Our Intro dive master, Curly Butch, is a funny guy. If anyone ever meets him, kindly tell him Dr. "Turbo" (as he calls my husband teasingly) is extending his regards. The other Dive Master Gaga, pronounced Gaga^,is also a funny guy..Their secretary, Venus is a jolly and bubbly person. It's funny to see her helped the boatmen push the boat towards the sea , as if it will make any difference. :)

Before diving, we stayed in one of the huts along the beach. They serve lunch .My friends had an abundant meal. I wasn't lucky , when we got back from diving, nothing was left except paksiw na galungong. So better inform them early and reserve.

    around Bohol in 10 hours.....
Bohol has a great roads and high-ways best for touring and coastal hooping. The cheapest and most convenient way to enjoy this road trip is to rent a motorbike, it should be 200cc and above for stronger power for the long distance yet less gasoline consumptions.
Locals are giving their personal motorbike for 700/day , but I got a better offer from BoholRiders for 800/24hours. awesome adventure trip, will sure to come back soon.
