When we had our dolphin watching we were asked by the boatmen if we would like also to go swimming and snorkeling, but they said we need to hire a smaller boat guide us so we could better enjoy and make it much easier. We asked them how much for the two of us and they said P150 (since in puerto galera it is the same rate about P50 to P70) so we agreed and went on. The boatman looks like he was on a rush (maybe because he wanted to get other customers) brought us in the very deep part of the sea where we almost saw total darkness. We thought there's not much to see so we decided we head back and land on the beach to have our lunch. We paid the boatman but he asked P300 beacuse he told us it's P150 each not P150 for the two of us!We really thought that was too much considering the way he guided us and it only took us only less than 10 minutes and he initially said P150 for 2.And also the snorkel we rented were crappy condsidering the price we paid,P200 each( in Palawan it was only P100 and it was very nice to wear and use)
Unique Suggestions: Bring your own snorkel or try to look for boatmen with nice and new ones.

here's our experience...while doing dolphin watching, our boatman approached us and told us that he needs to pick up a korean couple who are in balicasag island. he needs to transport them to alona. don't be fooled by this. they intend to shoot two birds with one stone. my wife and i did not give in to their request.
in addition...beware of natives who will approach you in the morning and ask you if you want dolphin watching and island touring services. take note that the dolphins surface early in the morning. at around 8am onwards, no dolphin will show up.
Fun Alternatives: just say no!!!

Unique Suggestions: explore the road (this is just a short road).... you will find interesting shops there while looking for a cheaper resto....
Fun Alternatives: if you still prefer to eat at your resort then go ahead...... atleast you'll have someone in a beautiful resort uniform to serve you............
