Go upstream boating all the way to the most famous landmark in Pamplona called the Mount Malagavavi, a legendary mountain known to be mystical among the townfolks. It's a thrilling boat ride snaking thru the long and wide Pamplona river where one can view the bottom with the naked eye several feet below on a clear sunny day while feasting on the breathtaking greenery along the way. One can stop anywhere to take a dip in cool water choosing between the deep portions or the shallow rapids of the river. There are boats for rent located at Sitio Caugingannan, Barangay Masi where the boating experience jumps off. The boat rental ranges from Ps1,000 to Ps1,500 depending on the size and distance of your trip. The whole takes about half a day and be sure to bring your own food and drinks.

The church was built by the Spanish friars in early 17th century. Partly damaged by a strong earthquake a century later, but sooner it was repaired to its present structure.
