Alvino's Roast, Grill & Fry: Try out sisig pizza..

    by Jimbo222 Updated Apr 10, 2009

The food we tried was Sisig pizza and Alvino's special. The price is not too cheap, but the taste was okay. Sisig pizza was really eating crunchy sisig on a pizza.
There are a lot of variety of food here; pizza, pasta, salad, grilled food, etc.. Ambiance is nice, with open space and are with open air. Service is also just right; not slow service.

Favorite Dish: Sisig pizza - since it is something different from the usual

Jogger's Restaurant & videoke: Cheap but long long service

    by Jimbo222 Written Apr 10, 2009

We had lunch in this place at around 1pm and our experience was that the one serving us was not enthusiastic that we were there. It took 45min - 1 hour just to serve us food and there was no people inside. The food was cheap and was so-so in my opinion. Ambiance is not much as you would really go there just to eat cheap. Regarding service, we are not sure if its because they're expecting people to come in the evening so during lunch time we were not given nice service.

Favorite Dish: Tried bulalo and tapsilog P50.
since it's cheap, it's just right

  • Sinangag Plaza: The Best Pork Chops in Town!

A typical tapsilog place in a humble setting. Self-service, which is a good thing. Fast and easy menu, pretty cheap too - only P50.00 for the tapsilog and porksilog. If you're hungry, come to this place.

Favorite Dish: Their porksilog (pork chop, fried rice and fried egg) meal is famous.

  • KSarap "Food na Masarap": Great Food! Great Ambience!

by orangebubble Written Aug 5, 2008

The restaurant has a cozy homey feel, with it's bamboo-and-nipa-hut look. It's a place to bring your family and your friends. Their menu has a great variety of dishes and desserts. Service is good and fast, all you need to do is to press the buzzer to call the waiters. During hot days, the restaurant's water mist system makes guests feel cool and fresh. And as I always say, you know it's a good restaurant if it has clean restrooms, theirs is A+!

Favorite Dish: Their specialty is their empanada (must try!) but all of their food is great. The fried tofu with teriyaki sauce is excellent! Loved their sherbet as well! It's a guiltless dessert - a refreshing alternative to ice cream. Comes in various flavors - buko, strawberry and corn&cheese (loved this!). Served real pretty too. =)

  • Alvino's: Pizza and More

    by bliss_seeker Updated Jun 3, 2008

Alvino's Pizza is the brain child of Alvin Obusan, just about the most popular surfer in the Daet area. Upon reaching Bagasbas Beach, I was eager to try his pizza, which other sites had mentioned. However, I was disappointed to find that the place was closed for renovation. A few days later, I was delighted to find out that there is another branch of this restaurant, in the town proper of Daet itself. I hurriedly went there to try the pizza that has been spoken so highly of.

I was not the least bit disappointed with the pizza! The dough is a secret recipe by Alvin himself, baked in a customized oven designed by - you guessed it - Alvin himself. Apparently this guy has a knack for innovation and insists on uniqueness so much so that the pizza sauce itself is his very own recipe - using none of the canned tomato sauces or pastes, but rather, fresh tomatoes. I ordered Alvino's special pizza which was loaded with toppings and a generous serving of mozzarella cheese. It was delicious!

The restaurant is airy and spacious and offers a wide range of items, from binalot meals, to pizza, pasta, roast chicken and even shawarma. Anyone is sure to find something to love at this place!
